Applewood Golf Course

Applewood played fair. Dirt patches on some edges of the greens.. Some green work in progress on 16, very sandy. 17 was a little bumpy. Otherwise, fairways and tee boxes are in good shape. Only expect it to get better as the weather warms up and the grass start to grow. Always enjoy a round at this course.

The fairways are great It is a good course for me gain confidence and try to understand the game of golf..

One can tell when day light savings time comes around when we all spring forward. The bees are buzzing the trees are blooming and the golfers come out to see their shadows. There was plenty of them which made us team up with others but it was still a good day to play golf. There was a few times when what looked like we was on top of one another but it was worth it. We managed to get in 27 a d I will take that any day. Besides a long day golfing is still a better then shopping

Conditions are OK for this time of year. Its been raining off and on for the last few weeks but you can still drive the carts of the fairways. Greens are very good for this time of year, putt true and quick. Never a bad day at the Woods.

This is one of the courses that I love playing. The greens are nice. It’s not a difficult course.

The Applewood golf course was in great shape the pace of play was excellent the staff was very accommodating to the guys that played in a group with me. The snack bar head sandwiches chips warm or cold sandwiches drinks hot or cold drinks refreshments of any kind all assortments of beer so it was a great time to be had by all.

The layout of this course is great! It was still wet as it rained all weekend. The fairways were really mowed short so they were tight. There are some spots that Ned attention.The greens were ok with some really tough pin placements. The sand bunkers on the front were new sand but the back were clay and some did not drain and were unplayable. The pace was slow on the front because we were behind a really slow group. When we made the turn , we got ahead of them and our pace picked up significantly! We finished 3-4 holes ahead of that group! Overall the clubhouse staff was extremely friendly, however I only saw one worker on the course and he was sitting in a cart

Had a lot of rain the last couple days but as usual applewood drains very well. For all the rain we’ve had the greens looked great and they were really quick.There were three of us we started at 11 and we finished in about 2 1/2 hours.As usual the staff is always very friendly.
