A-Wood
Conditions are OK for this time of year. Its been raining off and on for the last few weeks but you can still drive the carts of the fairways. Greens are very good for this time of year, putt true and quick. Never a bad day at the Woods.
In the rotation
This is one of the courses that I love playing. The greens are nice. It’s not a difficult course.
Great Golf Course!
The Applewood golf course was in great shape the pace of play was excellent the staff was very accommodating to the guys that played in a group with me. The snack bar head sandwiches chips warm or cold sandwiches drinks hot or cold drinks refreshments of any kind all assortments of beer so it was a great time to be had by all.
Applewood
The layout of this course is great! It was still wet as it rained all weekend. The fairways were really mowed short so they were tight. There are some spots that Ned attention.The greens were ok with some really tough pin placements. The sand bunkers on the front were new sand but the back were clay and some did not drain and were unplayable. The pace was slow on the front because we were behind a really slow group. When we made the turn , we got ahead of them and our pace picked up significantly! We finished 3-4 holes ahead of that group! Overall the clubhouse staff was extremely friendly, however I only saw one worker on the course and he was sitting in a cart

Had a lot of rain the last couple days but as usual applewood drains very well. For all the rain we’ve had the greens looked great and they were really quick.There were three of us we started at 11 and we finished in about 2 1/2 hours.As usual the staff is always very friendly.

I really like the layout on this course . Love the wide fairways!
Beautiful
I’ve probably played this course over 100 times and today was the best I’ve ever seen the greens ,course was in really good shape all around.As always everybody that works there was friendly.
Always a great value
Had a good time as tge ciurse is great. Little on the slow side but after three holes all kinda spread out.
Shotgun
It seems that there was a tournament going on when we got there. It seems it was a shotgun start earlier in the day. We got in the middle of it. First question is why book individual tee times that interfere with a tournament? The people in the tournament were VERY rude and vocal. They were finishing up their round and were obviosly frustrated with us for some reason. REDICULOUS! Our pace of play was held up by another group and the players in the tourny were not happy with us because we (and they) were having to wait.
