Nice course great staff.
This was a very nice golf course. It was out in the country off the highway about 3-4 miles. The staff was very nice and made me feel at home. I would recommend this course to anyone who enjoy playing in a quiet place. Lot of nice people playing there also.

A nice round
This is a hidden gem. The course is fairly flat with nice greens very well maintained bunkers. The fairways are slightly narrow, making it challenging for those of us with less control. Our foursome had a great time and will be back again.

Good layout.
This course has a good layout. Lots of bunkers. Some long par fours. Greens are in pretty good shape. I recommend this course and would play again.

The Course is fairly flat and very open. We had a guy that asked to play with us and he knew the course very well and directed us as we approached every hole. Except for No 1, the pace was pretty good. It had some water hazards and plenty of bunkers. The greens were in decent shape for this time of year. The new hole paositions should be flattened when moving them and holes more clean cut. But besides that i will definately play this course again.

Great course for the value. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The course is perfect for any level but really good for beginners to intermediate level. Definitely worth the drive and the value you cannot beat. Play this course.

Slow play
Every time we come here it is overbooked and they always have groups o 5 that will not let you play through. We went yesterday our t time was 1245 we did not get to start until 1:30 because they did not have any carts. I used to love this place but we do not come here anymore for these reasons. They never have marshalls and if they do they do not do anything when you call so why waste your time .

5and 6 people playing in the same group. Very slow play..course has rules but lets groups of 5 and 6 play. WTH

new greens
My first time playing here since they redone the greens.I like the changes they made overall.the greens were just about perfect just wish they were a little faster.Only downside was pace of play,we payed for 18,but only played 9.It was just taking too long,one hole had 3 ladies with 2 kids running around the green.from what I could tell they were the big holdup on the course.

Change of pace
I play here 3 to 4 times a year. Course is very flat . No elevation change at all. Very different from the hills I am used to . Course is always in good shape. New greens were put in this year. They roll very true; but are very hard, as can be expected with new greens. I always enjoy Applewood.

Applewood GC
Course I've played many times (50) since it opened, first review. Country golf course that is a nice place to play. Normally not very crowded and pace of play is great. Layout is very fair with a few critical tee shots with room to miss. Greens have just been redone and coming in nicely and from my point of view will make scoring slightly easier if your on your game. This course will not be in pristine condition but is always in good shape. Par three's are mid range 150 - 180 yards, a couple of long par fours, reachable par fives. Recommend at a good rate.

Bad Greens but fun course
Open course and fun layout. The greens we pretty bad though. Not sure it was worth the drive. Still had a good time though.
Thank you for your comments Joe. Applewood has just renovated all 18 greens with Tif Eagle Bermuda, removed some bunkers and added tee boxes and a chipping/bunker practice area. Lots of fun. Hope you come out again soon.
Good value for the price paid
It was a bit early in the year and the course was dry/fast. Greens were like glass so putting was not easy at all. I would imagine that this would be much different in the summer after growth and watering.
