Fun course to play. Not in as good of shape as usual, but it is winter

Course is in good shape considering it is winter and the fairways are still dormant. The greens are in good shape and running good. It was a very slow day as it was a holiday.

Disappointed
I was there a week before; and the course was in great shape. This round the course was n
NOT as good. The greens were good for the time of year. The fair ways were the worst part
I will still play there!!!! The staff and players are always friendly.

Great time

Applewood
Local course I play a couple of times a month normally during a weekday afternoon. Generally you can breeze through in a couple of hours and today was one of those days. Conditions good to getting better. All aspects of conditions are good with the greens starting to roll truer. Greens are quick and still firm from the rework but nice.

Hard easy course
Front nine is basic layout but the back nine is more challenging. Fun course

Unexpected treat
This is a course in somewhat of the middle of nowhere, but close enough to Augusta and Waynesboro. The course was in very good condition. The greens are going into hibernation for the winter but they still putted well and mostly true. They probably need to roll the greens to smooth them out some, but that's a nitpick. For the most part they were good. Quite firm, but they would accept a well-struck approach and a pitch or chip hit with spin. If you can't do that, expect the ball to bounce and roll out. The fairways were excellent and the bunkers were well maintained.

I think this the best course in the Augusta area for the money and for the average golfer. I love it!
