Great time
Great course and the conditions of the course were great as well. The pace was bad but I enjoyed the course.
Nice Course
I am the average golfer who likes to get out and just have fun. Right now I’m struggling with a fade/slice. This course is very forgiving. Nice wide fairways. I went in the afternoon and had plenty of time to work on trying to fix my shot and not feeling rushed. Price for 18 holes was a very good deal.
Fantastic Value!
I played a round on a weekday at noon and had almost no issues with pace of play. There was a single that played through going from 9 to 10, but I didn't see anyone else on the course during my round. A few greens are being worked on (a few with sand and aeration), but I always view that as a positive. You definitely have to plan your shots off the tee. I played off the blues and constantly switched between driver, hybrid, and driving iron off the tee. Amazing course even without the low green fee!
Decent Value Course
Course has potential. Greens were a bit rough and being repaired in some places, but the holes were placed accordingly. They were rolling pretty well. I think the fairways would be the hightlight of the course being that they are very lush and nicely cut. Course has a forgiving layout. Not very busy on a Wednesday afternoon. Id give the course a 4 out of 5 overall! Hot Deal price made this a win!
Don’t Go on AppleMania days
Before I go any further…I love this course! The layout, condition and staff is great. We had a tee time and I showed up early to check in. There was a line of about 10 people in front of me and we ended up teeing off 10 min after. We were the last group before the weekly tournament tees off. The gentleman behind us played the gold tees and it was best ball format so they rode us the entire day. Told the Marshall on two separate occasions we held up pace of play even though we had people in front of us. I was told to hit into a green with people on it by the Marshall. (240 yards with a 3W) I didn’t and waited until they cleared. The Marshall came another time and told us to hurry up. And the people behind us were harassing us and even hit into us before we cleared the 17 par 3. Pace of play front 9: 1:50, back 9: 1:40 min. Total for all 18: 3.5 hours which is far below the average.
