About
Collins Hills Golf Club is a little known course to outsiders, but it is a local favorite. The traditional parkland layout tumbles across a rolling terrain. The golf course features small, undulating greens and narrows fairways bordered by towering trees. The layout demands accuracy especially with the numerous sand bunkers that have been incorporated into the design. Several ponds and lakes are scattered across the course, coming into play on seven holes. The layout has its challenges but it is still gentle enough to accommodate a variety of different skill levels. Before playing, golfers can warm up on the driving range or utilize the other practice facilities. Collins Hills Golf Club's atmosphere definitely plays a role in the club's popularity, offering all of the amenities of a private club with a casual and friendly setting

Don’t waste time or money
Horrible- Took 6 hours to play round. Every hole was backed up..
You could t drive your cart anywhere on course (cart path, fairway without bouncing all over the place) Had to carry bags from car to the club house, then to car after round. The bunkers(lol, they gave up on them and letting grass grow instead of spending money on replacing sand..
I could go on, we all came home shaking are heads saying what a waste of money and time…. Never again will I go there or recommend anybody to go there..

Local golf course and great 👍
It is a friendly staff and is a good place for me. There is some work and driveway repair, but not bad at all.

Course needs a lot of work
This course was in terrible condition. Don’t waste your time here. There are much better courses for your money. I B will never go back here again.

Average golf course
The course is crying for an owner who gives a crap. Good layout, could be interesting, but unfortunately, nothing on the course would indicate anybody cares at all. I am an avid fan of golf and it’s always disappointing to see a potential wonderful layout in a state of “nobody gives a hoot” let’s just take the money and run. Along the same vein, clubhouse could be cool but currently… not. I paid around $38 for the round, I can do better somewhere else. And… I will.

Decent local course
Might go back. They almost over priced themselves
The greens are rough, no sand in the bunkers, trees and limbs laying on course

Decent course
Would be a great course with a little upkeep. Downed tree’s all over the place. Greens are super bumpy with visible low spots.
Club house was interesting. Same guy sat in same spot when we got there and when we finished. Did not see any employees driving around. There was a few people from the driving range start playing a random hole. The same family had 2 carts with one set of clubs they also let a little kid drive the golf cart as we were trying to tee off.

Could be a great course
This is a perfect skill level course for an intermediate golfer. My complaints are the greens and horrid cart paths. If this course was maintained well it could be a great course, as the layout is amazing

Course Conditions
Amazing what Adam and his staff has done in 8 months. A total rehab of the course. I have been playing here for the last 3 years and have never seen the course in such great condition.
One suggestion: post on line the conditions for the day. That is, cart path only, 90 degree or closed

My knocks on this course are the rough is too unforgiving. Multiple balls of mine were lost in it. The greens were in decent shape, but extremely slow. There was no drinking water on the course. The driving range was torn to shreds, and thus, had to hit off mats. There were only 10 or so lanes at the driving range.
The pros of this course include a very fun layout, fairways were in excellent shape. The back 9 is so much fun; very good for scoring. The turn is made by the clubhouse, prices of food and drink were good. There was a cart girl.
