About
Collins Hills Golf Club is a little known course to outsiders, but it is a local favorite. The traditional parkland layout tumbles across a rolling terrain. The golf course features small, undulating greens and narrows fairways bordered by towering trees. The layout demands accuracy especially with the numerous sand bunkers that have been incorporated into the design. Several ponds and lakes are scattered across the course, coming into play on seven holes. The layout has its challenges but it is still gentle enough to accommodate a variety of different skill levels. Before playing, golfers can warm up on the driving range or utilize the other practice facilities. Collins Hills Golf Club's atmosphere definitely plays a role in the club's popularity, offering all of the amenities of a private club with a casual and friendly setting

Collins hill
For only $27 its fine. The clubhouse is understaffed and once they run out of hot dogs for the day thats it so we could nit get any in the turn at about 2:00. Had this experience a few tines so i’m pretty sure it wasn't just an off day.
The greens are in really bad shape. Bumpy and lots of divots.
The fairways are pretty good in the middle, there is just too much clay and rock around them.
If someone would put money into this course
-scrape the bad ground and put down soul and grass
-fix the greens
- beef up the club house it could actually be a really great course.
I’ll play anytime there is a deal but would not spend over $40 on this course.

Greens
The greens on some of the holes were bumpy, dirt and different kinds of sod! Otherwise great course

Greens are almost unplayable
Friendly and good conditions except for greens. The last three years the greens have gotten worse

Course was good
Pace of play good for our foursome. A couple singles went around us. Ladies tee boxes were quite bare and some hard to get tee in ground. Greens were good.

It's fine, greens had a rough winter.
Nice folks, nice swag in the gift shop. Good hot dogs. New carts.
The greens really had a rough winter. They were in much better shape last year. Almost all greens are really really poor.
I've played this course several times, I'll return but this was a rough one. Hopefully things improve over the summer!

The greens and bunkers need some major repairing considering the price point. There are courses in the area at cheaper and greens and fairways are in better condition. That made it difficult to get any feel out there. People in the club house were great on a positive note.
