About
Collins Hills Golf Club is a little known course to outsiders, but it is a local favorite. The traditional parkland layout tumbles across a rolling terrain. The golf course features small, undulating greens and narrows fairways bordered by towering trees. The layout demands accuracy especially with the numerous sand bunkers that have been incorporated into the design. Several ponds and lakes are scattered across the course, coming into play on seven holes. The layout has its challenges but it is still gentle enough to accommodate a variety of different skill levels. Before playing, golfers can warm up on the driving range or utilize the other practice facilities. Collins Hills Golf Club's atmosphere definitely plays a role in the club's popularity, offering all of the amenities of a private club with a casual and friendly setting

Nice course for a great price
The course is fine. The greens need a little work, cart paths are rough and the off course areas are pretty bad (dirt and roots). But the fairways were in good shape and I like the layout of the course. It has some challenging holes and a lot of elevation changes to keep it interesting. Not too hard or gimmicky just a nice public course. Especially for the cost. Could it use some work - yes. Is it fine for the average golfer that does not have a country club membership - yes.
Water
In this HEAT the course had NO WATER stations. COME on Folks!!!

Very poor conditions.
Course and greens in very poor condition. Closed back nine to airiate without my knowledge when booking. Played front nine twice. Grass on greens terrible. Man inside tried to cheat me on price of drink and snacks. Tried to charge $10 for $7 worth of drink and food. He absolutely was going to pocket money if I paid cash. Will never go back.

Overpriced. Terrible conditions
We paid $63 a piece and course conditions were terrible. Greens were so patchy, it made putting extremely difficult. Golf carts are very narrow making it difficult to get two bags in the cart. Also the carts are governed down to such a slow speed that they can barely make it up some of the hills. Got a hotdog at the turn and it was $6.50 for a mediocre hot dog. Don’t waste your money on this course. It would be worth it if they charged $20-$30 on the weekend but $63 was way too much for the conditions we had

Fun course, not much amenities
Course had a nice layout. Golf cart was the slowest I have ever had. Nothing to hard or nothing crazy easy on the course. Could see it being a bit cheaper for what you get.
Would play again as it's close and still worth it.
Puts some water on it
Ok course. Some tee boxes are in bad shape. Number 9 needs a lot of water on it, hard as a rock. Some greens have burn spots. All in all I ll play again.
Great for the Money!
Hadn't played this course in 20 years, so it was like the first time. Enjoyed the layout and the condition of the greens was higher than i expected. It's not a PGA course, but it was really fun to play. If you love golf, give this course a go. A great time for the money. Cart path could use an upgrade.
Solid course, great staff!
Has to be some of the best public greens in the metro, fairways also really good. Nice layout, but a difficult course, play if forward. Friendly staff that cares about you having a great experience. Nice pro shop with trendy clothing.
Will be back to play!
Not Worth the Money
A nice layout that has been allowed to go to pot. Grass is not good, tees are in poor shape, many greens are bad and cart path is a joke.
Not bad for the $
I know some people will disagree, but I'm mostly pleased with this course. Some greens have dead patches, and the cart paths aren't ideal. As a high-handicapper who enjoys the game, this isn't a terrible course to play for the hot deal price.
The Course was in terrible condition
The tee boxes were non-existent. It was hard to find any grass on them at all. The cart paths were very rough. The course along the fairways has a lot of dirt with rocks. The carts are extremely slow. The Marshal was really nice and friendly. The cart girl had an attitude problem and was not friendly at all.
