Collins Hills Golf Club is a little known course to outsiders, but it is a local favorite. The traditional parkland layout tumbles across a rolling terrain. The golf course features small, undulating greens and narrows fairways bordered by towering trees. The layout demands accuracy especially with the numerous sand bunkers that have been incorporated into the design. Several ponds and lakes are scattered across the course, coming into play on seven holes. The layout has its challenges but it is still gentle enough to accommodate a variety of different skill levels. Before playing, golfers can warm up on the driving range or utilize the other practice facilities. Collins Hills Golf Club's atmosphere definitely plays a role in the club's popularity, offering all of the amenities of a private club with a casual and friendly setting

Solid course, great staff!

Has to be some of the best public greens in the metro, fairways also really good. Nice layout, but a difficult course, play if forward. Friendly staff that cares about you having a great experience. Nice pro shop with trendy clothing.

Will be back to play!

Not Worth the Money

A nice layout that has been allowed to go to pot. Grass is not good, tees are in poor shape, many greens are bad and cart path is a joke.

Not bad for the $

I know some people will disagree, but I'm mostly pleased with this course. Some greens have dead patches, and the cart paths aren't ideal. As a high-handicapper who enjoys the game, this isn't a terrible course to play for the hot deal price.

The Course was in terrible condition

The tee boxes were non-existent. It was hard to find any grass on them at all. The cart paths were very rough. The course along the fairways has a lot of dirt with rocks. The carts are extremely slow. The Marshal was really nice and friendly. The cart girl had an attitude problem and was not friendly at all.

Tight fairways

You will lose a lot of balls, and the scores won't be good. The course cobdition is not good. Very old carts.

Beautiful course, botched greens

Course layout and views are great, most of the course is well maintained. Some erosion in the fairway and greens are pretty rough. Fast and bumpy.

Garbage

There were 6 groups waiting at 1 teebox. Learn to manage the course better. Also they said the cart person just decided they didn’t want to work that day. What kind of business is this?? $65/ for a horrible round of golf. Never again and I’ll tell anyone and everyone to stay away.

Poor Quality

They were actually working on the course and spraying the greens as we were playing. The cart path needs to be replaced. Trees have the asphalt raised and it was a super bumpy ride. Just been a while since I played here and it has deteriorated quite a bit.

Not Fun

We have been playing this course for years and lately it seems equipment failures and course conditions have prevented us from having a good experience. Last time our cart had no brakes, this time the engine light came on and stayed on. We called the pro shop and was simply pushed off. The greens were horrible, cart paths can lead to throwing your back out if you do not pay attention. They need to put some TLC into these items or the cost does not outweigh the experience.
