coming back!

Played here yesterday for the first time since last spring. We had stayed away due to negative reviews about the greens and general condition. I thought the greens were still a little bumpy, but not as bad as has been depicted. Grass is dormant in the fairways but still quite playable. Great welcome and service from the clubhouse. We will add it back in to our regular rotation.

Not great

I had played this course a couple years ago and i remembered the course wasn’t that great. The greens weren’t great. Very patchy and a lot of weeds. My friend said he heard the greens were rolling great there right now so i figured id give it another chance. Boy was he wrong. There was weeds everywhere on the greens. The 9th green alone felt like i was playing pinball when i putted. The tee boxes were meh. The fairways were decent. I only played 9 but for a course that charges $50+ to play 18, it is just not good value. Probably won’t ever play here again simply because it’s too much money for this quality of a course.

First time playing the course and.the first couple of greens in rough shape for the price I paid even with a discount. They improved by greens need work. BTW, STAFF WAS EXCELLENT.

Disappointed

Played the course based on past reviews. Let's be honest nothing matched. Who ever said hidden gem let's be real!! Nothing hidden everybody knows about this course. Yes it's improved but has a long way to go. To charge $55 dollars...no way worth it!!! No ranger. Stuck behind a , foursome with no ettiquete. Yeah it's winter play but it doesn't mean you don't roll or cut the greens. Pins not changed, tee boxes chewed up, tee markers look like they haven't been moved in months. Muddy mess no grass. Greens ok. Someone said lightening greens, NO WAY!! Putted ok. Fairways not manicured or the rough. Not a worker to be seen at 10. What are they doing with the $$$. Why don't you get the practice putting green right. It suppose to serve as a reflection of the 18 greens your playing. It's terrible!!! It's a $30 dollar play if that. 365 days of golf, this course just takes your $$ in winter. Don't waste your time. Disappointed!!

If you like putting on the Daytona Speedway you would have loved Southbridge!! WOW
