Solid layout!

I am 75 years old and the course is plenty tough!

Pros: 18 fun holes, chipping and putting green, driving rang, decent food and great staff.

Cons: slightly over priced compared to courses in the area. Driving rang boxes need a bit of work, as well as the other practice facilities. Tee boxes worked fine but many fairways and roughs have bad spots and need work. The greens are slightly bumpy with a couple bad spots though out the course. The course also has a “dead” look to it which is hard to control, but the grass as a whole needs some love.

The staff, layout and scenery are the only thing that may bring me back.

The course is in really good shape. The rough is very high. It is easy to lose a ball in the high grass. The greens were in good condition. I would definitely play it again

Over the past 8 years I've played Southbridge many times and I've been impressed with the recent efforts to improve the overall experience at the course. During my last play I found the course to be in the best condition ever. The greens were true and the fairways were well maintained. Even the cart paths were better than ever. Southbridge has proven to be one of the best golfing values in the Savannah - Hilton area.

The front 9 was okay. Greens were in decent shape but the back 9 was almost un playable. I can’t believe there charging 55 dollars to play there. Should be ashamed to be open to the public wile the course is in this condition. Used to be a decent course but have let it go down hill.

Sending money to a Nigerian prince is a safer bet with your money than spending $60 to play this course. Tee box grass was taller than your tee. Fairways were akin to an African safari with clumps of dead grass as tall as termite mounds. The inconsistent fairway grass height looked like the mowers were missing a blade and it was just ignored. Fairway sand bunkers were dry and cracked like the salt flats of Bonneville. Greens are okay at best. Grass around the water was taller than a small child.

If this course was $20 or even $30 it would be okay. But $60 is an insult to any golfer.

The course was in better shape when I played before. There has been an awful lot of rain and the rough is a bit overgrown. However, still an excellent track with a little more attention and care.

Great course: excellent greens/ roll true/ made a few long putts (always a plus). Layout was logical, scenic, forgiving but challenging (white tee box).

Rough around green was thick/ difficult (it's summer, so grass grows fast). Fairway rough too thick /easy to lose ball 1 foot off fairway (bring a dedicated spotter).

I want to blame this nice course for my errant shots, but I really can't, so please mow mow mow & paint your tee box markers solid bright colors :)

My friend and i had a 454 tee time and there was a league game at 530. Ryan put us out on the front nine and after three holes we found ourselves in the middle of a shotgun tee off. So we had to drive around to 10 to play not sure of the confusion, maybe he was flustered because of all the action at the desk, i believe he told some one to get cart 48 and if it wasn't out there, to figure it out. Weird, because the first time i played this course the other staff was very polite and accommodating.

took my prepaid tee time, then told me had to have cart back by 8pm, but course very backed up. No ranger or starter, no cart girl, water jugs empty on the course

lot of rain so cart path only, can't help that, need to discount the price if going to be under these conditions

Great course for the price. Nice variety of holes. Greens, fairways and bunkers in excellent shape. Drinking water everywhere on a hot day. Don't pass this one up.

The greens were in much better condition than the past 3 summers that I have visited. I like the layout and the fairways are wide. The biggest challenge today was the rough. Literally inches off the fairway or green you could have trouble locating your ball. It felt US Openish..Even when you were in the middle of a few fairways the grass felt like long like the fringe. Overall a good day.
