Greens were in terrible condition

Played the day after a rain storm so course was wet. Greens had significant growth issues both with weed type buds in spots and dead grass in others. Layout is nice but the conditions need improvement. As it is late March, not sure if this is the normal.

Great day of golf

I got a great deal on golf now and it was worth it. The course was in great shape and the guy I got paired with was super nice. I am from West Virginia and he was from Michigan. The pace of play was good. We caught up to a 4sum and they let us play through. They were locals and very friendly. Would like to play again when back in the area.

Nice course

Over all a nice course and good value. Some of the greens were pretty tough - but it’s early in the season. The concrete cart paths are beat up - they need some increased attention and replacement.

good value

I live in the Bluffton area and the 35 minute ride was well worth it not to play the overpriced courses around here. Southbridge was in decent condition and we paired up with a couple of good guys and had a really fun day

Great way to spend the afternoon!

We booked sight unseen, and the course did not disappoint. Great pace of play, friendly staff, and some really challenging holes make for a really great round of golf, especially for the price in Golf Now! Not only do we recommend this course, we have booked it for play two days from now before we leave Hilton Head/Savannah!

Nice Course

First time playing this course. Traveling through the state and checked golf now for local courses and found this one. Reviews look decent. Course was in good shape except for some of the tee boxes and cart paths in certain areas. If you're in the area, I would recommend you stopping at this course. Good value for the cost.

Very much hit or miss here.

I’ve played this course several times. Very well laid out. Staff is friendly. Good location. My issue has also been with other patrons and poor attitudes. My most recent experience being the worst. Group of 6 in front of us(2) was playing extremely slow with each teeing off multiple balls. Passed them and skipped a hole to leave space. They took it upon themselves to skip ahead and hit into us on the rest of the front 9 and nearly hit my playing partner. They had caused a huge backup because they would not speed up or allow others to play through. I guess passing them really upset them.

Good public course

Nice practice course. Greens are currently in poor condition. It is definitely a $30-$40 course. It’s in good shape for a public course.

Great time

I really loved this course. The layout for me was just the right amount of water, sand, and nice wide straight fairways. Conditions were good enough for my level and I had no issues with anything. The carts were good, there was a decent pro shop, driving range, and bar. I mean what more could you want for this price?

A Course Forgotten

I recently played the Southbridge course on a whim via GolfNow, and was completely underwhelmed by the condition of the course. I am a single digit handicap lifelong golfer and it was disappointing to see what may have been a nice track, let go. Several (I think 4 or 5) of the tee boxes were closed and we were teeing off from the grass alongside the tee boxes, the cart paths were aweful and in need of many repairs. We had to drive over old pallets and boards to traverse the areas of the path deemed unpassable. The greens were average shape, but the hole locations were permanently scattered around the green with plastic caps over the ones not being used that day making the cups a little ragged from not being cut routinely. Traps were also not raked, which was a general indication of the course care by those playing and the general conditions. I hope this course gets the care it needs moving forward as I believe it could be a nice track.
