Southbridge Savannah Golf Club

Great golf course layout. Decent fsirway and sand. From the practice green to the 18th green, the greens are in rough shape. Lots of Poa, and are spots.

Each green had 3 or 4 cups cut into the greens. Easy to change pin locations but the cup edges were ragged.

I imagine this course was spectacular years ago. The layout is challenging and the greens are beautifully shaped and offer a lot of undulation. Unfortunately, it appears this course hasn’t been kept up. When I played it, it was not in good condition. Wouldn’t it be great, if this course could be improved?

The course was very nice despite being in Feb.

The weather was perfect

Spending winters down in Savannah for the past three years. I started playing Southbridge in 2020 and it wasn't in great shape. But each year after there have improvements. Greens fairways all in decent shape. If this continues this could be one of the best public courses in the area!

Course is getting better as each month passes! Hope the staff keeps up the good work and will continue to come back

Great improvements made to this old gem. The new owners are making the necessary changes and investments to get this great layout back where it was and should be. With the exception of one green (#12) the greens are really good. Layout is fantastic with tall, mature pine and oak trees on both sides of the fairways with water or OB on both sides of most of the holes. Sand traps have been redone and refilled. You can see a lot of improvements in the cart paths with more to go. Years of neglect are quickly getting turned around. For the money, this is the best course in the Savannah area. Great value.

The staff and maintenance crews are working hard all the time to improve this course. I have seen in the last two years much improvement! The cart paths are much better and the driving ranges seem a lot of improvement. The greens are starting to get better and I am excited about playing there this spring. Keep up the good work!

Course condition was great. Staff was friendly. 10/10 course for the price.

had some rain a few days earlier and the course was wet and damp which means the course needs better drainage. the greens were very nice especially for this time of year. the fairways were missing grass everywhere and were generally bad. sand traps have been reworked recently and were very good. it's wintertime and the weather was typical. it was a good day to be outside and the golf was fun.

The course itself was in pretty good shape considering the time of the year. Had some neat holes (lay-out). Some of the cart paths desperately need to be replaced, road on smoother roads in Afghanistan. Overall had a great time.

They have worked on repairing the golf paths which makes it nice to drive on instead of the fairways!

Greens were for the most part alright (nothing great) and they had several holes that you couldn't drive on, and for someone who as a disability I had to walk more.
