Pleasant experience, room for improvement

Overall I had a nice time and the course condition was generally decent, with some exceptions. Some of the tee boxes were pretty rough but more importantly the greens were poor. Many of them had multiple, randomly located patches of surface removed, which made finishing holes a frustrating experience. Chips are already difficult without your landing spot being a hole.

I wasn't in a rush so it didn't really bother me, but there was no starter and absolutely no organization. The remaining three in my group (I was playing solo) never showed. The group ahead let me play through on the second, which made sense since their tee time hadn't even started. The group ahead of them were seven guys playing the tees together at an agonizingly slow pace. Again, I wasn't in a rush and didn't mind, but for many golfers this would be a deal breaker.

Beautiful course overall. Weird, winding layout through the neighborhood, which made for pleasant driving in the cart, but would not recommend walking.

Great for the money.

This was a beautiful course and at a wonderful value. The greens need some attention but overall it is a fun and challenging course for an amateur golfer. I will be back.

You get what you pay for.

Good layout. Could use some money thrown a maintenance, but overall a good value. It’s not a goat track. Will be back.

Savanah golfing…

We were driving from Florida to Ohio and like to golf along the way. The course had a few wet spots , but it did rain the night before. Also two groups ahead of us was a young couple with a toddler, the husband was teaching wife to golf so that held up 3 groups of people, but after the first hole there was no problem. Layout was good even though it waves in and out of an allotment. We enjoyed ourselves.

Course review

I’ve been playing for many many years & the pace of play was the worse I’ve had in years. It took close to 5 hours . There were no rangers & the group in front of us would take 10-15 minutes once they reached the green. I would NEVER consider playing here again unless things changed dramatically…..it literally ruined our Sunday !! Complete waste of money. Also, when we got there the guy behind the desk said it “ Was wide open “. BS…we waited in every shot all day !!

Beyond disappointed !!

Needs attention

Great golf course layout. Decent fsirway and sand. From the practice green to the 18th green, the greens are in rough shape. Lots of Poa, and are spots.

Each green had 3 or 4 cups cut into the greens. Easy to change pin locations but the cup edges were ragged.
