it's getting better all the time

course has continued to improve since the new owners took over. the fairways were mostly good, still some bare areas but mostly good. greens were almost all in very good condition and very fast and smooth. sand traps were pretty good. cart paths are the biggest issue, if you care about being on the cart path and when they're asking for 90 degree, well cart paths are pretty bad and in places in-passable. so maybe they'll tear them up and start over or just tear them up and leave them as dirt. overall a pleasant experience.

Best yet in Savannah

I have been playing courses in Savannah and this is one of the top courses for the money. Course was in good condition in spite of recent heavy rains, A variety of tees and lengths gives every golfer a fair challenge. The sand traps had loose, groomed sand and not hardpacked ungroomed, sandy soil like many other courses. Since this is a community owned course, numerous single members started on the back nine which slowed play significantly from the good pace on the front.

Not bad for the money

I’m not from the area but have played courses in Florida. I was surprised how shaggy the fairways were. Expected them to be shorter than what they were. The greens were challenging, but they also needed a lot of work. For the money it was a nice course.

Worst managed course I have ever played!!!!!

so I have never left a review of a golf course before but this was so bad I feel the need to warn others. first off the tee time. our tee time was at 815 and we were on the tee box 5 min early. we did not tee off until 855 due to the backup off of the first hole! we then get to the second and are on the green. the ranger comes up to us and tells us that we need to pick up our ball immediately and go back to the first hole so the league behind us is not held up. frustrated we go back to the first hole and are waiting to see off, AGAIN. then the same ranger comes over and moves us again to the back nine due to another league that needs to play. at this point it is close to 10 am, 2 hours after or original tee time but being on vacation we are trying to make the best of this. we play the back nine with no incedent and get to the clubhouse at 1150 playing nine in an hour and fourty five minutes which was respectible for a threesome. upon walking in to the clubhouse we are greeted not with an apology for the delay or misunderstanding but rather the front desk telling us we only have 7 min to get back on the course because they need to do maintenance,. Seriously!!! I know the price is appealing and it is a nice course for the money but I could not recommend this course less due to the management of the course and the staff.

Great Layout…needs a bit of attention.

Great Layout, Greens were better with the recent aeration. There is some obvious draining issues on the number 11green area. Fairways are in need of some grooming and basic mowing.

Cart paths need replacing in some areas, one of our cart batteries went very weak and just went very slow on our return to the clubhouse .

Course was in good condition. I have always liked the layout and it did not disappoint. Cart paths are rough and are being repaired.

Vacation Golf

Played this course at 8 AM after booking the day before at 3. Course was wide open never caught up to anyone. Had a group of 2 behind us that never caught us. Greens were great. Tee boxes were good. Found good spot to hit off all of them. Fairways were great. But you gotta stay within the first cut. Cart paths are somewhat rough due to tree roots and erosion. But I would definitely play this course over and over.

Course

Fairways and greens were great, only problem is cart path. Understand the reasons why. But I would go back with gravel. Due to tree roots
