Southbridge Savannah Golf Club

Greens and fairways were mostly excellent. Couple of greens had bad spots but overall course was in good condition.

Nice course played alone and completed round in 3 hours 25 minutes

Greens were very slow

Played Southbridge for the first time. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Never met such a pleasant crew. Now to the course nice layout fairways and tee boxes were in great shape. Generous size fairways. The greens had a few bad spots but didn't affect the putting. For me only bad thing the greens were quite slow but I like fast greens. Played on Friday at 10am and finished in 4 hours! If you are in the Savanah area I would definitely recommend playing this course.

Glad to see the course is in good shape, a few greens had some rough spots but see that on a lot of courses in the low country.

This is a great course to play. Really enjoyed the wide fairways and all the hills. Very nice staff and is a true bargain for 9 holes in the area.

This was a very friendly, nice course with challenging holes.

Very slow twosome in front of us on back nine. We were a threesome and waited every hole on back. No marshal when you need one.

Yeah, this course isn’t for me. The fairways are narrower than they used to be and they grew up the rough super thick. You have to be right on top of your ball to find it in most of the rough around the course. Incredibly frustrating having drives barely roll off the fairway and being penalized so steeply. There were a lot of grass clippings in the fairways and rough. The greens are slow but in pretty good shape. I won’t be back unless they mow the rough down. It was not a fun round of golf.

After checking in as a single and hitting balls and with the tee time coming up, I checked back in to the shop and asked the first person I saw if there was anyone playing with me. As I did someone else with the course who heard my question said, " I need you off the front nine by 2" in sort of a or else tone. I had just watched a twosome and before that a four with children riding along head out and I thought, well, that's gonna depend on them! In spite of that, it moved fairly well on the front, and whew, luckily I made in in before 2!... local tourney was starting as it turned out. And then suddenly on the back there was a third with the group in front and that third slowed it all down to a crawl.... all over the place and often hitting two shots from each spot and at one point while I was on the tee behind, dropped three extra balls from the same spot. No ranger in site. Going back? Eh...

Greens and tee boxes were rough. The rough was very long and hard to find and balls, let alone hit from the rough.

Beautiful course and unique layout. Makes you think about your club selection and whether to challenge the hazards. We enjoyed our round here!
