Course in Progress
This is a short course for women and encourages target golf ball placement. The sprinklers are under repair so the fairways are dry and the ball gets a lot of roll. Some hardpan on the back nine if you miss the fairway. Hole 16 is a fun par 3 over water.
The grill was closed, so no food on Mondays.
Carts are in good condition and the staff is friendly. It's worth the "Hot Deal".
Lacking
I understand everyone is cutting back on hours, but customer service is number one priority. Checked in said hello first. Went to the tee box, said hello first. We saw a Marshal and he just sat there in his cart without a word. We stopped at the clubhouse at the turn and found out grill was closed, even though they sen us a menu on the monitor beginning of the 9th hole. When we went in, don’t know if it was an employee or not, but they were eating pizza with their family with about 3 pizzas on the grill counter. When we were on the course the cart locked up twice in back to back holes on the cart path. Temperature was 90 degrees. Clubhouse doesn’t answer the phone, had to use a second number.

Needs some love
I like the layout it’s a fun course the front looked very good after the turn is where it really started to deteriorate there are a lot of greens and tee boxes that need some love and for the price we would expect nicer more filled in fairways but looks like no sprinklers or not used the back ways like playing in a sandlot this could be really nice and fun hope to see it rise to its potential but for right now is a little overpriced for the level of play it offers
Terrible service and greens
Tee marshal would not allow me to ride in a cart that I paid for and said the rule is you have to pair up with the random person regardless of how many carts there are. As someone who paid for a cart, I expect to have my own cart. They were unable to refund my round as I paid on GolfNow. The Marshall then allows an old man that he is buddies with to ride in his own cart about 5 groups behind me. Course fairways were in a 2/5 star state with numerous ground under repair conditions. The greens were a 1/5star state and were extremely long. The group I was in had numerous putts kicked off line due to the greens conditions.
Great value
Excellent course. Good driving range, solid putting green. Very diverse holes. Back 9 is a little tougher than the front 9. Hole 16 is an island shot and it’s hard as heck
CCoG
The new ownership has done a lot with this course. Club house renovated. Brand new carts. They continue to work on the course, fairways and greens. Coming along nicely.
Good experience
Second time playing this course, which is making big strides. Very friendly staff. The starter did a nice job keeping things moving and making sure everyone teed off on time. Pace of play wasn't bad, we saw a course marshall making the rounds so at least this course is trying to keep rounds to 4hrs and fifteen minutes for foursomes. The course is getting better and better. Tee boxes need some love but the fairways are good and the greens are solid. The layout is fun--challenging but not gratuitously so.
Getting back to what it once was
You could once count on this course for a fair, medium price and quality golf experience. It had some of the most consistent greens in the area. That was until the previous ownership/management nearly ran it into the ground by instating disastrous policies like making the range available ONLY with tee times (!!!), and NEVER aerating the greens. Things had deteriorated to the point of “goat track” qualification and I didn’t play this course for nearly 2 years despite it being five minutes away.
Kudos to the new management for doing their best to turn it around. The staff is friendly. (Really, is that sooo hard?). The food in the grill is excellent. The recently double punched greens are almost fully healed and putting very true at medium speed. Pace of play was a bit slow but that was primarily one player in the group directly ahead who had no business playing the tips.
Keep up the good work guys!
Good choice
Good choice especially if you're making last minute tee times.
Good Value - Fun Course
First time playing and it was nice. I did go mid-week on a day off so I can't really comment on Pace of Play during the weekend, it was wide open when I went. costed me $35 + $5 bkg fee.
The Greens are currently in good shape, the traps were decent, grass was cut and fairways were fine. The only downside was some rough cart paths but that is the least of my concerns when evaluating a course. The course itself was great.
It has some fun and challenging holes, varying layouts, elevation changes, and some beautiful views.
I think this is a solid $60-70 value course, so if you're considering booking for less I think you'll you be happy with it.
Great course
The play area was great. The cart was excellent and even the challenge of the course top notch.
