course in great shape.
greens rolling true and in good condition. fairways a little hard but fair. tee boxes need some attention as several were all dirt. overall good condition. my group enjoys this challenging course each time we play.

Great green conditions
We haven't played for few weeks, compared to the last time, greens were all so nice and fast the way I like. Keep up the great maintenance work, guys.

Needs a lot of TLC
Played this 2 course days after 6 inches of rain. Course was understandably suffering from that, but there were many other indications of poor upkeep. There were no tee markers except for the black tees. Difficult layout, too penal for my liking. Greens were excellent.

Buyer Beware!
Overall was poor experience. Course was in rough shape. Bunkers were full of water and could not be hit out of. Tee boxes were torn apart and had no markers. No cart person with beverages or snacks. People nearly hitting us twice as players behind us had 3 people while we had 4 and just no respect on the part of players. Paid for a small bucket of balls on the range and were given a bag with about 10 balls which was not what I paid for. Drove a long way to a poor experience.

Poor layout - too many blind shots
Nice par 3s but too many narrow/blind shots and the course limits the player to hitting 200-220 off the tee. Teeing grounds need work. Greens were decent. Overall a reasonable value for $40 on a weekend afternoon but somewhat frustrating layout, especially for first time players.

Great course, greens in good shape
I live in Atlanta and Smoke Rise is one of my favorite courses around. It has a lot of elevation change and the greens look great and roll really well. Will be back.

Fun track
Challenging with many dog legs and elevation changes. Need to know where to hit and where not to or things get ugly fast. Today the Greens were in some of best shape I have Seen. Fairway grass is still dormant. Sand traps well maintained with actual sand in them. Really want to play again when everything grows in. Overall Worth the play.

Loved it!
This was my first time playing this course. Even though the wind was blowing and the temperature was nippy, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I look forward to playing the course again.

Goat Path
Tee boxes are Sand boxes. No grass. Greens bumpy. 5+hour round. Layout choppy

Good course but better staff
Cool & windy day but had a fun time. Greens in good shape, rest of course grass thin & tight. Hilly landscape so you get in your steps in between shots. Couple of long, tough par 5’s even from the blue tees (5800 yds). VASYA in clubhouse personal & friendly on phone & in clubhouse. Range balls included. Would recommend if you can get a good deal

Needs improvements
A very strategic course, you miss it by a little you pay for it. It has the potential to be very nice but it’s going to be a while to get back in shape. Clubhouse is beautiful though.

Great fun for the price
Played a quick 9. Got chilly after a while so wanted to get out and swing the clubs. Pace of play was awesome.
