Play at least once
This course is at least a one time play each year.
A day at the beach.
A great, sometimes frustratingly difficult course. Most of the fairways are nice and wide open but there is trouble all around. I’ve never spent so much time in the bunkers in my life. This coupled with hard lies in rough near to the fairway turned could-be pars into bogeys or worse. It was a great challenge and I’ll be happy to play it again. The views of the downtown skyline and water areas are a great bonus.
One of my favorite courses in Chicago
The course is in great shape. Maybe the best greens I have played this year. Kudos to the greenskeeper. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Well worth the trip to play there.
Play it a least once
Beautiful course with more than moderate wind conditions. Greens very speedy and you must control your ball on a good line. Club selection is essential if you want to score.
No Rain Check for Twilight
Was really excited to play Harborside, but the course was plagued by rain on 8/2. However despite only getting to play 2 holes they were unwilling to offer a rain check due to a twilight policy of no rain checks. Atleast id expect the opportunity to get a rain check for twilight or a weekday, something! Waste of $70 won’t be returning.
2 Single Digit Handicap Golfers
My brother and I love this golf course, it is unique in so many ways with its open layout, no trees, immense wind, playable fescue, and slick greens. It’s a fair test for any good golfer, but if it’s really windy it can be cumbersome. We’ll be back, but once we’re ready for the challenge again.
Fun Track - Links Monster
This course was a joy to play despite its extremely challenging layout. Round came with gps cart and small bucket of balls at a very nice practice center. Even with Covid everything felt easy to navigate and the staff treated patrons like it was a private club.
Highly recommend getting out to play!
Way to Windy
its a great course but I will never play it again. Its way to windy never let's up you can't play tour normal shots always taking an extra club or two aiming way right or left depending on wind. Not worh the $90
well worth the price of hot deal
course in great shape no back uos quick pace of play 4 hours for 18 holes cart paths could use some work geese on water holes tend to make greens a mess have to move ball for a clear putt path
