Port at Harborside International Golf Center

Shockingly good golf course. I will play it again. Very interesting layout - challenging but still playable from the back tees.

What a great course. My wife and I took the day off from work to play this course during the week. The weather was perfect and the course was in great shape. We had perfect views of the city and we even saw a few Deer in the last few holes. The course has plenty of bite and you can shoot a high score at any mis-hit, but the holes were fair and fun. We lost many balls in the fescue, but found just as many. Plan on bringing extra golf balls. Just a wonderful experience

Traveled from Cincinnati for business had a day before I left the Windy City decided to play a solo round. Weather was cooling down and winds were gusting. The course was challenging but fair and luckily I did not find the treacherous rough once. Fairways are in excellent shape and greens receiving and also in great shape. Absolutely loved this golf course and wished it was closer to home. I had a great time the staff could not have been more welcoming and I will be returning hopefully sooner rather than later.

Overall in great shape. Great links layout of that is what you’re looking for. Very penal if you miss the fairway even by a few yards. If your a scratch or better you’ll enjoy the course otherwise bring plenty of balls.

I really enjoyed playing this golf course. Very nice layout, course conditions were excellent.

BUTTT an issue I had was that there was no starter on the tee box. I had booked a tee time for 5 o’clock, and didn’t tee off until about 540 because two groups had jumped in front of me on the tee box. Being the nice person I am I didn’t say anything and when about my round. Furthermore, I was unable to finish my round, cutting it off at about hole 14 when I could no longer see my ball. Hoping for the amount of money you pay I wish there would be some “order” come twilight time. That was not the case

The course is in great shape, beautiful view of downtown from the south side view. Challenging as usual. Harborside has the best wind at your back for 6-holes or so; the rest good luck!

It’s hard to give a realistic review due to the weather. It was in the high 40’s and the course was very wet. Not their fault. All things considered, the course was very good. Greens were in pretty good shape and fast. Still a lot if fun and wry challenging.

The conditions and layout of this course are fantastic. We played on a chilly, wet morning so the pace was great. Water comes into play from time to time, with it being more prevalent on the back 9. The bunker placements make them hard to avoid and make it so you have to be strategic throughout the round. My only complaint is the rough was a little too bushy making any shot from the rough a tough lie. I know hitting from the rough is supposed to be difficult, I just found it to be a little too much of a penalty. With that said, the fairways are fairly wide which helps to avoid the rough.

Cold day but with sun out was comfortable. Course was in great shape and great time. Staff could not have been nicer to me and my son. Above and beyond.

The greens are in outstanding shape this season and I’m really happy that they trimmed the fescue back. It’s still punishing, but not a guaranteed lost ball.

loved playing the port side unfortunately the group in front of us was so slow and no 1 from the course came out and asked them to play quicker

Played the Port course. Excellent golf course but players who play do not take care of the course. I highly suggest that the Starter and Golf Staff inform the players when they sign in and when they start to please fix divots and ball marks. Course is a championship course and needs respect.

Challenging. Like fact they have cut tall grass somewhat. Seemed unfair with grass very high in past. Much better.

I love this course, but it seems like they're growing the long grass to the point where it might as well be an automatic lost ball hazard. I wish they would trim that back a little bit. The course is starting to get a little gimmicky with this stuff. You can miss a lot of fairways or greens by 5 yards and be lost in that stuff. Totally unnecessary and is cheapening the experience, but otherwise a top notch place.

Staff warm friendly! For a $53 dollar hot deal it’s the best bang for your buck on a weekday. Full price would be harder to play more often. Course in amazing condintions for a public course. Love electric carts with GPS! They let me go out as a single before my actual tee time to avoid being behind a few three somes. Done in 3.5 hours
