About
Formerly known as Poplar Creek Country Club, the club was transformed into the Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club in 2011. Besides just the name change, the design itself was dramatically reinvented. Fifteen holes were completely redesigned but the golf course's most memorable holes were left untouched. Bunkers and fairways were reconfigured and fescue was planted to provide more depth and definition. To make the course even more challenging, new lakes were also added. The golf course is definitely a shot maker's layout that rewards accuracy and thoughtful strategizing. The final three holes are considered by many locals to be the toughest finishing trio in all of Illinois. It begins with an uphill par 4, followed by the longest par-3 and par-4 holes respectively. The Bridges of Poplar Creek C.C. offers a round that will challenge even the most avid golfers.

Beautiful course — worth a few extra bucks to play
Course is in pristine condition and great staff along with it. A bit more $$ than some of the other courses in the area. But well worth the money.
Golf Pass snafu
I purchased these rounds thru Golf Now at $42 each. Turns out the course was having a shotgun start at this time. The course was selling this time for $35 with the stipulation that it was a shotgun start.!!
A Scenic Gem Found in Hoffman Estates
Everything about my experience was excellent! They have a fantastic learning center, a restaurant, a banquet facility, locker rooms and a stocked pro shop. Everyone was friendly. The course was in great shape! I don't know if this is because of covid, but I remember there used to be water jugs located throughout the course and there wasn't. Luckily I brought water with me.
Bad experience
Played 4 holes swiftly before running into a logjam. Next 5 took almost 2 hours. Had to leave after 9. Singles, two and threesomes, all with horrible pace of play. No starter, rangers, staff anywhere. Greens were full of ball marks, sand, cleats. Will not return.
Great course
First time playing this course. 620am tee time was a great choice. Pace was 3 hours with 2 guys. the greens were in amazing condition and fast. Only complaint to me was having to use my 2W more than my driver at the tee box. Excited to come back!

After all the rain, the course was in great condition and is a fun time.

Very challenging course bring lots of balls! Wow this course is incredibly beautiful with lots of bridges to drive over there is plenty of water hazards and lots of thick weeds that can easily snatch up a ball or two or three. Definitely would not recommend this for a beginner as they would probably be very frustrated with how difficult it is. The greens were very inconsistent and our foursome barely was able to make a par. I guess if I had one complain about the course it would be that the greens were very inconsistent and very difficult
