Annbriar Golf Course

Annbriar is the best public access course in stl region. Friendly staff helpful. Course in great shape. Only a couple of small areas in 2 fairways need attention otherwise perfect. Greens great shape . Fun layout requires good shot decision making and execution to score. Nice wide fairways for novice players. If in stl for short while this course is worth the short drive to play.

Our foursome enjoyed a wonderful round at Annbriar. Course is in great shae and always a challenge. Friendly, helpful staff -- maybe the best in the Midwest.

I have not played Annbriar in 5 months. Usually Annbriar is a automatic 5-star course but not this time. I was slightly disappointed in what I experienced. The course has an issue with a weed (I think it might be goosegrass). It has invaded many of the tee boxes and is in some of the fairways. Looks like they are trying to kill it on some of the tee boxes but it really ruins the aesthetics of the course. They also mowed the taller grass behind the 18th green and the dried, brown cut grass looks awful. The service in the restuarant has slipped too. We had to get someone's attention to be waited on.

As far as the greens - they are perfect. For the quality and design of the course, the $77 weekend rate is good also. The course has new rakes which have bristle hairs on the end to them, that really helps smooth out the sand. The staff at Annbriar are always friendly.

There is now a memorial bench and picture of William Noble (original owner) near the clubhouse, who passed away last year.

On the 11th hole, it appears the tree which was just left of the creek off the tee, has been cut down. Really opens up the hole even more. On right side of hole 17, another 4 trees cut down. I guess to help with airflow.

The group in front of us backed us the entire course and there was noone in front of them.

Why is there no marshal available?

This track is beautiful, well taken care of, challenging, and invites me to play better. And I do. And so I visit it as often as possible. You should too.

A little off the beaten path, but this course was a delight to play. Beautiful golf course that was challenging but fair.

Fairways were beautifully maintained. The rough was thick but went 8am on a Monday (apparently the day they mow the thick rough) so I imagine that it’s not as bad usually.

Staff was very friendly and pace of play was smooth. All n all had a great day!

Everything was good but the missing water bottles that are supposed to be on holes 5 and 14. Both coolers were empty last week and this week. I teed off around noon on both rounds. Please have staff keep an eye on them. Thanks!

Always a treat to play AnnBriar. Course is in great shape!

This is my favorite course in the area. It is in great shape!!!

Some sand traps were not playable but probably due to amount of recent rains.
