This course is way to expensive for what u get. 90% of fairways need new grass. This course is charging rates like if it was remodeled. This is a $25 course. They’re overcharging and as long as people pay these ridiculous green fees they’re gonna keep raising them

The course was in an okay playing condition. The course also needs more signage. We had to help a group behind us find the correct hole. It wasn't bad for the price, but would only recommend this course if you are in a pinch or just want to get out on a course.

It’s a really fun track. The conditions could and should be better everywhere. From the box to the green. Recognizing that it is just your lower level municipal course, the rates are too expensive.

This will be the last time I come here, The starter is one of the most rudest person if met, his snarkie comments and condescending attitude towards use was unbelievable. The fact that this club would hire someone like this to represent there golf club amazes me, and it's not jus me to say this, every single person that came out of the club house after dealing with him all said the same thing, it was comical, all the golfers were chucking jokes afterwards about him on the putting green and practice area, I did not catch his name but he's a person of color and wore a jordan hat. It's a shame because I use to like this club, but not anymore, save yourself time and jus go next door to hidden valley, they would never treat good paying customers that jus want to have a good time like that.

The course was better than I’ve ever seen it. However, holes 8 and 16 are still horrible. Neither has grass down half of the hole. This really needs to be corrected. And a Marshall to speed up play would also increase customer satisfaction.

I'm local and quite close to this course and when I first tried playing it around 5 years ago, it was in such terrible shape that it didn't feel worth paying $25 to play 9.

Fast forward to the past year or so, they've made vast improvements to the conditions; the greens are always in great condition and roll true and fairways are serviceable. However, there are a few exceptions.

- Still no sand in the traps.

- Hole 15, their handicap 1 or 2 hole on the course may as well be the signature hole because it makes you never to want to bring any of my friends here.

You can hit a great drive on this hole and end up on hard dirt, because where the left side of the fairway ends, this enormous dirt patch begins.

I give the owner the benefit of the doubt and commend the overall improvements over the years. But these glaring shortcomings need to be addressed.

This course has terrible conditions and bad customer service to boot. We tried to order just 2 fountain beverages and they charged us for 3. The management has children running the place and they fail to notify customers of their specific course rules.

For example, we payed for 2 players with a tee time of 4:40 PM for 18 holes and then after finishing the first hole, a child who seconds ago charged me for 18 holes drives up in a cart and tells me they are now closing the front nine. So we comply and turn around and drive all the way back to the 10th hole to play the back nine. We are assured we can play the back twice.

After the first trip through the back 9, we ramped up for another 9 and just as we tee off on the 10th for a second time, another child rushes over in the cart as fast as he can, yelling and waiving his arms in route? We turn around and he says, “carts need to be in by 7:30!” With another hour left of sunlight, we pack up our clubs and head back to the car as directed.

What a terrible experience? Does management condone such dishonesty? Deceitfully dealing consumers a “great deal” then reneging on the deal after payment has been made? I for one will not be returning back.

Course was great etc. However, when paying, according to the website it stated Mission Viejo residents receive a $4.00 discount. When I asked for that and showed my drivers license, the guy at the counter said no, that you have to be a member, bringing in utility bills and signing up. I argued that the website doesn't mention that at all. A decent Company rep., to keep a customer happy would have gladly waived that rule and given the $4.00 discount. And could have said then , next time bring the proper materials and sign up.

I just thought it was petty that a employee would argue with a customer about something so petty.

Play looks easy to play , but it’s challenging love it

Staff was rude, had a problem with cart and nobody seemed to care. Course is subpar. There are a lot of nicer places to go for same or less costs. I would not only NOT recommend this place but suggest you find somewhere else to go.
