Fun course and challenging.. some fun elevated Tee Boxes on a few holes.. would go back

Course overall was fair. Even after the great winter rains, sparse coverage of grass in many fairways. Course was very hard in fairways in some places. They have removed all traps since last time I played. Didn't hit any of those areas anyway. I htought fo the price, it was an overall good value and I would go again.

The longest round I’ve ever played. 5 hours and 52 minutes. The pace of play is terrible. They have a Marshall who did NOTHING. The course conditions are not good. There is sand and dirt covering all the fairways. Some holes do not even have fairways, it’s just dirt. The course layout is something I’ve never seen before, many holes overlapping each other and the chance of getting hit by a ball is extremely high. 3 times there was a ball that landed right next to me and no one said fore. The only good thing I have to say is a couple of the staff members are nice. I will definitely not be returning to this course unless they upgrade everything about it. Sorry to be rude but I have to be honest.

Evert tee shot is not a driver.

You really have to think about your next shot and position your tee shot accordingly.

Being out of position will lead to more strokes.

Very fun course. Sloped fairways and lots of elevation changes. Greens are in nice shape but a little slow.

Best cheeseburgers of any golf course !

First time out to cresta verde and had a great experience very fast paced.

I have not golfed at Cresta Verde in 20+ years as it was a pretty run down back then and needed some TLC. I have to say it has not improved at all. This course is not well kept and a lot of holes don’t have much grass on the fairways. The fairways are a hazard to drive on as they are so bumpy. The cart paths are in really rough shape and need to be replaced. This course is not worth the money and the only reason I gave it a try again is I couldn’t get a tee time anywhere else.

Have an open schedule when you come here as you might be on the course for 3-5 hours depending on who’s in front of you. The greens are decent and have a good roll, my only gripe with this course the sometimes slow pace of play but other than that it’s a good middle length course to go after you get comfortable hitting the ball.
