Cresta Verde Golf Club

Anahiem hills used to be an elite course but in recent years they have removed acreage in place of weeds. Removed bathrooms on 15 and added ports potty instead of remodel. But the biggest disappointment is the removal of the lake which was surrounded by 5 holes only to replace it with a mosquito infested swampy weed patch. It’s ugly unkept and slows down play with people ball searching on 12-13 and 15. It’s a mess for a course of this quality. Poor decision by City of Anahiem taking the course down notches instead of up.

Not the most scenic course, but layout is pretty good. Challenging and different.

This place is awful. Please stay away. Conditions of course are so bad and pace is crippling. They had a scheduled a group of 8 people in front of us. Never seen that at 6:30 am!

Love the layout and the history of the course. The fairways were a bit rough in areas but the greens were consistently good and fast for a muni. However I will continue to support the course cause of the staff which is one of the best in SoCal. Their kindness and friendliness starts from the top down is something they have become known for in SoCal golf circles.

This is a nice course for the price. Thief to put grass on hole 8.

I enjoyed playing the front nine- by the time I get to the back it has been very slow ; in all fairness I play in the early afternoon.

This course used to have some bunkers and water hazards, now there are no sands and water but grass. The fairways are poorly maintained, potholes and bare land without grass everywhere.

Golf course is a joke.. left after the 9th hole. 4 foursomes were backed up at the 10th. Golf carts are junk , fairway and greens have improved but still eh. Still not worth more than $40 a round though.

We are first time to play. It was nice course. On this day there was green maintenance so that a fee was cheap

Cresta Verde is a great fun course for one of the best values you will find in the Inland Empire. The course layout is neat and has some challenging holes. It is by no means in “good shape”. Management is doing a lot to improve but it still has large dirt patches (sometimes in the fairway), overgrown brush, and shawty cart paths. Tee boxes are in decent shape and the greens are the best part of the course.

If you are expecting a beautiful clubhouse, nice carts, and bunkers, (yeah this course has no bunkers) then not the course for you. Go figure, it’s ≈$40-$50 for Saturday morning tee time and other courses are +$120!

But if you just want to get out with some friends for a good time at a decent price, this is the place. Weekends mornings will generally follow good etiquette but if you are worried about the rules of golf, afternoons and weekdays are perfect as this is a very open and inviting course to play the game your way.

It's an okay place to play. Pace of Play bogs down sometimes. Need to do some updates with the course

The course is ok to play, tee time is available all the time.
