Cresta Verde Golf Club

Love playing this course. A wide variety of holes with some great views of the valley. Pace is decent. Yes...a few of the fairways are beat up and never seem to get better, but that is just a few holes. The greens are in great shape and the vast majority of the course is well maintained.

Easy check in, friendly staff, carts in good shape. Most tee boxes not in great shape but ok, some

areas in fairways have patches of sparse grass or dirt but overall it was ok. Pace was okay . On 15 group behind hit up on our group. Nice course layout, challenging holes. Great value to play 18 holes. Overall, a great day of golf.

This mediocre course has the potential to be a great course. It once used to be a course that Bob Hope himself played. With a few improvements it would completely change for the better and command more money. It already has great greens and water features. It just needs these few things. For one thing it doesn’t even have ONE bunker on the entire course! They have all been let go and overrun with grass. It also has lots of deadpan dirt and mud areas of course which is hard to grow grass. That’s understandable. It could be remedied by creating carry areas that are simply mulched or decomposed granite with desert landscaping. To save water. It wouldn’t take much to bring this back to a real gem. Make it the course that Bob Hope played again.

Anahiem hills used to be an elite course but in recent years they have removed acreage in place of weeds. Removed bathrooms on 15 and added ports potty instead of remodel. But the biggest disappointment is the removal of the lake which was surrounded by 5 holes only to replace it with a mosquito infested swampy weed patch. It’s ugly unkept and slows down play with people ball searching on 12-13 and 15. It’s a mess for a course of this quality. Poor decision by City of Anahiem taking the course down notches instead of up.

Not the most scenic course, but layout is pretty good. Challenging and different.

This place is awful. Please stay away. Conditions of course are so bad and pace is crippling. They had a scheduled a group of 8 people in front of us. Never seen that at 6:30 am!

Love the layout and the history of the course. The fairways were a bit rough in areas but the greens were consistently good and fast for a muni. However I will continue to support the course cause of the staff which is one of the best in SoCal. Their kindness and friendliness starts from the top down is something they have become known for in SoCal golf circles.

This is a nice course for the price. Thief to put grass on hole 8.

I enjoyed playing the front nine- by the time I get to the back it has been very slow ; in all fairness I play in the early afternoon.

This course used to have some bunkers and water hazards, now there are no sands and water but grass. The fairways are poorly maintained, potholes and bare land without grass everywhere.
