good course and reasonable price
We are first time to play. It was nice course. On this day there was green maintenance so that a fee was cheap
A discount ratio is quite big. we appreciate
Classic Cresta
Cresta Verde is a great fun course for one of the best values you will find in the Inland Empire. The course layout is neat and has some challenging holes. It is by no means in “good shape”. Management is doing a lot to improve but it still has large dirt patches (sometimes in the fairway), overgrown brush, and shawty cart paths. Tee boxes are in decent shape and the greens are the best part of the course.
If you are expecting a beautiful clubhouse, nice carts, and bunkers, (yeah this course has no bunkers) then not the course for you. Go figure, it’s ≈$40-$50 for Saturday morning tee time and other courses are +$120!
But if you just want to get out with some friends for a good time at a decent price, this is the place. Weekends mornings will generally follow good etiquette but if you are worried about the rules of golf, afternoons and weekdays are perfect as this is a very open and inviting course to play the game your way.
CVGC
It's an okay place to play. Pace of Play bogs down sometimes. Need to do some updates with the course
Basic residential development course
The staff is very friendly and helpful. Course is a basic residential course with some interesting ups and downs. The fairways are a bit worn, and some of the golf carts are a bit run down. It is a moderate value for the money. It has enough challenges to make it worth playing, but course could use some upgrades. Greens were in good condition. Few sand traps, appear to be replaced by grass filled depressions. However, there are sand covered collecting areas that serve as hazards on the fairways.
Great price for Golfing
This is a great course to play if you're not critical about the course's patchy areas. The tee boxes are fair, the fairways are wide and patchy in some areas. But overall, it's a great course for the money. Again, if you can look past the patchy/bare areas, it's a great course.
Pleasantly Surprised
My husband and I played this course for the first time and really enjoyed it. There’s no big, fancy clubhouse but all of the requirements, including a nice snack bar, are available. The one disappointment for me was that there were no bunkers. That’s probably a good thing, since I struggle in bunkers, but if you like bunkers, you will miss them on this course. Since the course is elevated, there are gorgeous views to be hard on numerous holes. I will definitely be back!
Greens are Nice!!!
We haven't played here for months. We had an early time and played in a twosome. The conditions were good. the fairways were actually plush. The greens are always nice. The teeboxes were a little rough. Only compliant is the man that replaces the pins left a big mess behind at every hole.
Good play for the price.
Over the years we've played Cresta Verde many times and we've watched the course progress, better and better. Still needs work, but it's getting better. The course has variety, not really challenging and good value for the price you pay. We will continue to support CV and we're thankful for the staff.
Fore Friday
Good overall pace, friendly Marshall and stall. Even with the rain we have a great time!
Improving
We have been playing here fairly regularly and I think the course conditions have steadily improved over the last 18 months. There is still plenty to do, but fairways and greens have constantly gotten better. The tees have also gotten better grass but they are still not very flat. Overall a fun experience.
Creste Verde is a very good secret in Corona
For years I've been golfing in areas near me and stumbled upon CVGC. As with any course there's going to be worn fairways, bad cart paths, or greens. Over the past year, at least they have been doing work and it shows . The palm trees are being cleaned up, the bushes clean and trimmed. The layout is fair, challenging and if you do well on a couple holes, Eagles are there. My only complaint is no cart service. The pro shop and breakfast/lunch counter services are incredible. They even remembered my name. You'll see staff having lunch or a drink with golfers. If you were there a year or longer ago, give it a shot, you won't be disappointed
