Cresta Verde Golf Club

Greens are in good shape. Fairways generally OK, a few areas of rough dirt. Fairways near the greens are fine. Some awry shots that go up or down hillsides don't leave a playable option.

Hadn't played Cresta Verde in years due to very poor conditions years ago - heard things were better so gave it a try. Actually the course is in much improved shape and pace of play was fine.

My issue was a serious lack of covid concern at the club and the customers there- we got paired with another twosome and they had no masks and felt compelled to get up close and chat us up at every opportunity- and then when we made the turn and finished the area in front of the clubhouse to return the carts we had to drive through groups of guys - again no masks, no distancing all laughing, yelling and carrying on - a real uncomfortable experience for us. I've played many courses since the restart and every other course in the area played felt safe and people were mindful and respectful of the virus.

Maybe it was a fluke and unusual circumstance, but I don't think I'll be back before there's a vaccine

This course is getting better every month. Greens are as good as any course in the valley. Keep up the good work.

The course was excellent, especially for a hot day in Corona. My friend and I both had decent days playing wise but had a lot of fun just seeing how nice it was. The pace of play was pretty slow but we were in no rush, so it wasn't too bad for us. Would definitely play again.

Fun course and great value! I enjoy playing an easy round here from time to time. I like the elevation changes and there are a bunch of par 3s. Pace of play is good, not rushed at all. Conditions of the course were also well maintained. There is also a driving range.

Friendly staff and fun course. Course conditions are improved monthly it seems.. Fairways and roughs are a little bumpy and dry at times, the the greens are looking nice.. my favorite course overall, due to location, challenging course and staff friendliness ..

My son and I played on a Sunday and were keeping a decent pace. He's six and I would skip a few shots to give him extra time. Well, the foursome behind us asked to play through. I had already told them it was already before we started the course. We were both queued up by the clubhouse and I expected some concern due to my son's age, so I made the first gesture. They were fine with that. Well, when they eventually did play through (my son was having trouble with hole 7, the Range Master made a sarcastic comment. Ever since then, he was following up around the course; which made for a nerve-racking play.

I'd rather pay more and play a better course than cresta verde. If you are a weekend golfer just out to drink beer, then this place is fine. But for me, I liked a well maintained course with friendly staff. Will not be returning.
