very poor conditions
Don't waste your money! I have played their Ivanhoe course and enjoyed it. The lakes course is in such poor condition it was not worth my time. The pace of play was slow and there were no marshals in sight. The course was recently renovated but one would not know it. Tee boxes were full of divots and the greens had so many types of grass in them that your ball bounces around.
Cottonwood is a great local course in east San Diego county.
The staff is super friendly and very accommodating to your needs. We play here almost every week because the best Golfnow deals are found here! There are two 18 hole courses to choose from. Our favorite is Ivanhoe.

Cup placements on any day should be reviewed. Duffers don't need a cup on the side of a tier, or on a hill, nor 5 feet from the side of a green, front, back, or side.
otherwise, this is a great course.
Narrow fairways and long holes.
First couple of holes have very narrow fairways that require some shot making. Can score well if hitting your ball straight. Tees and fairways a bit thin but are better at times.
