Paradise Valley Golf Course was voted the top course in Solano County and it is considered one of the best values in the North Bay area. Mature oaks line the fairways and meandering creeks wander across the course, coming into play on nine holes. It is a good course for walkers but it is still quite a challenge from the back tees. Club selection and ball placement are equally important. Paradise Valley Golf Course's signature hole is the par-5 10th. It requires a trio of accurate shots beginning with a well placed tee shot just short of the lake that sets you up for the second shot. You will have to make it past a ravine and a massive oak tree in order to make it to the green, which is protected by both sand and grass bunkers.

Good value but needs work
Overall pleasant experience. It was a busy Tuesday and pace of play was slow. Especially in certain areas of the golf course. Staff was friendly. The course is in decent shape, Greens were putting true and overall in good shape. Same with fairways and tees. The bunkers on the other hand need tons of work. Nothing was raked and it was like hardpan in some areas. Our round took 4:45 min and we teed off at 1:20pm.
Slow
I was charged for my 4 year old daughter to ride with me. The pace was way too slow! My tee time of 1:21 finished at 6:21
Back to Paradise
It's been a few months since I played Paradise Valley and it was a great experience! I had a decent round of golf and the course paired me up with some good people. Our pace was steady and the course was in great shape. I plan on going back soon.
Excellent
Super friendly staff. Made accommodations for our 3sum to play together even though I had booked a single + a 2 sum in consecutive tee times using Golfnow. Unexpected awesomeness !!
Best bang for your buck
Paradise Valley was in fantastic shape. The pace of play was on point (full disclosure, we played on a Monday Morning). The price was reasonable. I use to love to play Rancho Solano but they never have anything available on mondays and their prices have gone up almost as much as eggs. I will definitely book a few more rounds this summer at Paradise Valley.
Paradise Valley
Excellent course, well maintained. I haven’t played there in a while but once we started, it all came back to me. Still challenging!! Lols! 😝 lots of blind spots, that if you’re a long driver, your ball might be in with the poison oak and snakes!! 🐍 I lost 2, so the course can keep them! Only draw back to getting out there is the traffic going back to Sacramento! Even with a short distance to Paradise Valley, going home by 3-4 pm is thick with cars. I highly recommend playing there tho!! Great course to challenge your short game!!
Great shape and value for your money!
As always, playing Paradise Valley is great! One of the best course in my area. Greens were almost perfect and the overall conditions were up to par. Can’t wait to play it again!
