Paradise Valley Golf Course
About
Paradise Valley Golf Course was voted the top course in Solano County and it is considered one of the best values in the North Bay area. Mature oaks line the fairways and meandering creeks wander across the course, coming into play on nine holes. It is a good course for walkers but it is still quite a challenge from the back tees. Club selection and ball placement are equally important. Paradise Valley Golf Course's signature hole is the par-5 10th. It requires a trio of accurate shots beginning with a well placed tee shot just short of the lake that sets you up for the second shot. You will have to make it past a ravine and a massive oak tree in order to make it to the green, which is protected by both sand and grass bunkers.

Great place to play
Hasn't rained for over a month while in our rainy season so a little dry and some thin lies, but overall in very good condition. Didn't know they had just plugged and sanded, but didn't care much.
Nice golf course for the value of money
Course has good layouts, well maintained and friendly staff, pace of play could improve ..
Great Course
Course is in good shape. Staff are friendly. It was extremely windy with gusts to 40 mph. It was very challenging but certainly not the course's fault.
Greens were perfect.
There was no drink cart out at all on a Sunday which i though odd but not that big a deal I suppose.
Great day on Paradise Valley GC
This course is a fabulous public course in Fairfield, CA.
Very friendly staff, fun layout, well maintained golf course. Prices have crept up but deals can be found.
Awesome
Didn’t know what to expect coming to this course considering it was new to me. It was nothing short of amazing. With as much rain as we’ve gotten, all the courses I’ve played have been Carr path only and this was not which makes playing that much easier. Played with a guy who knew the course like the back of his hand and gave me great advice. I 100% will be back. My new favorite public course by a long shot.
Pace of play
The course itself is in excellent condition even with all the rain we’ve received recently. Fairways are very lush but not soggy, rough is well kept and the greens were very receptive to my approach shots and my putts rolled true. The 9th was modified into a par 3 with a forward tee box making it a 100 yard hole, the play itself was both fun and
challenging. My one and only complaint would be pace of play, typically 4 hrs will get you through a round with some waiting, but today took nearly 5 and we waited quite a bit. Nothing like waiting on a tee box in cold weather. Marshals should really be monitoring slow play.
not so friendly marshal
approached by the marshal in one of the holes and was told I'm not suppose to be there. Instead of looking at my cart for a handicap plate I was asked how long have I been playing golf because I don't know where to park the cart. I pointed to him the handicap plate on the windshield and then he realized his mistake. He should check for handicap plate before making any stupid remarks.
Great course
I play this course several times a month and find it well maintained and can be challenging depending on wind conditions. The pro shop and Legends restaurant make the before and after rounds even more enjoyable.
Well Maintained
Course was in good shape,, even though they had just aerated the greens, they were pretty good. T-boxes were in great shape,
Fairways need some work
A lot of the fairways were hard pan and inconsistent. Ground under repair with no relief.
Will definitely not be playing here again. Go to Rancho Solano if you want to play this area.
Good course-good value
Friendly staff, nice layout, and challenging course make for a nice round.
Great value
I highly recommend both Rancho Solano and Paradise Valley golf courses to anyone looking for a great public course with friendly staff.
Course well kept.
The course was well kept. I was pleasantly surprised with the maintenance of fairways, bunkers and greens. Hard to find all 3 course features well kept. Definitely caught my attention. The pace of play was good through out 18 holes. The water igloos were filled with COLD water. Hole #7 or hole #9 had an intercom to place a food order with a posted food menu inside a 3’ X 3’ rock booth. One of the better all around golf courses I have attended in the North Bay as a beginning golfer.
