Paradise Valley Golf Course

very windy day, course was in fair to good condition, some taped off sections on or near the greens on the front nine for repair, overall a good experience, not crowded this day which was good

Paradise Valley Golf Course is a great place to go out and test your game. Small greens that are well bunkered...holes that require course management and greens that roll true but can be fast. Really like the GPS on the carts.

A Must Play

The weather was overcast and a little windy. The course layout was excellent. Fairways are well designed with sand traps and ponds. Greens were a little wet, probably due to recent rain and over watering. Fallen leaves caused losing balls in the fairways and the rough. I will come back during a better weather. Good course to entertain a group entertainment. The beverage cart lady was coming too frequently [four times in 3 holes play], interrupting the game. The marshals just drove by and did nothing about the slow pace of the play.

Played the day before Thanksgiving. Weather was beautiful but play was slow with noon tee off. Play usually at a steady rate at this course. The carts all have GPS which is great. Fairways all were well maintained and the greens are well kept. Course has a lighted driving range and a club shop right next to range. I had my club loft adjusted on the spot once before.
Clubhouse has multiple TV's for watching sports after round.

The weather was overcast and raining but this was a surreal experience. We were almost the only ones on the coarse due to the weather but playing on such a beautiful coarse and not being rushed was fantastic. Like having your own private coarse. Well maintained considered we are in a drought.

This is the type of course that you can go low if you bring your "A" putting game. The staff are friendly and helpful. We brought a foursome up from SF and all said that they would drive back to play this course again.

The day was nice, our tee time went off promptly. Just be aware, the green on hole 3 (or 4?) is under construction so you must play with a fake green just short of the original. All the other wholes were fine though.

This was a pretty course however there were lots of dry areas on the fairways and irregular grass. The grass on the tee boxes was all brown and dead! The holes on the greens hadn't been moved for what looked like days so the area around them was badly trampled! The play was slow but it was a Sunday, the Marshall was really good about try to move people along. Over all a fun day!

Course in excellent condition. Love GPS. One of the best public courses in the Bay Area.

I've golfed at several courses locally and this one is the best. The course is well groomed and always has been in great playing shape. The staff has been friendly and helpful. Carts are newer and well kept. I highly recommend this course for intermediate to advanced golfers. I can see beginners having a hard time on the longer holes but overall its great for all levels.

The coarse played very well fairways were sharp and the greens were fast

Was on hold every hole starting at 2, told Marshall 3 times about pace of 2 teams ahead. Did nothing!! Almost 5 hours and the 2 teams ahead & ours were threesomes. Not a great time.

Play was slow, but marshal tried to get it going, although late.

Air conditioning worked well, but wind didn't blow too hard.

Everything was perfect and I can't wait to do it again some time soon. Thanks for the wonderful experience!

nice and clean course. fairways are fairly wide - trees, bunkers, and water hazards you will find if you don 't take advantage of them. but tee shots would have to be extremely bad to not have a decent look at your second shot on most holes.

No evidence of a water shortage at Paradise Valley. Lush green condition throughout course. Everything was is great shape. Greens were true even if a little bit slow.

Compared to other local courses this one gives you your money's worth! Although they group tee times very close together and often get stuck behind slow or under average players the course overall is beautiful. Very distinct holes and obstacles make this course feel like a PGA course. This is not a beginners course by any means so please be aware that if your trying to get into the sport you'd be better off starting on a less difficult course.
