Paradise Valley Golf Course
About
Paradise Valley Golf Course was voted the top course in Solano County and it is considered one of the best values in the North Bay area. Mature oaks line the fairways and meandering creeks wander across the course, coming into play on nine holes. It is a good course for walkers but it is still quite a challenge from the back tees. Club selection and ball placement are equally important. Paradise Valley Golf Course's signature hole is the par-5 10th. It requires a trio of accurate shots beginning with a well placed tee shot just short of the lake that sets you up for the second shot. You will have to make it past a ravine and a massive oak tree in order to make it to the green, which is protected by both sand and grass bunkers.

Great layout, great conditions
Course is always in good condition. Greens were rolling smooth and good speed. Always enjoy getting 18 in here.
Nice course but very slow play
Beautiful course with challenging design and in great shape too. I usually like faster greens, but at least they aren't super slow and they do roll well. I would love to play at this course regularly, but it took over 5 hours to play and the marshals just seem to be riding around saying "hello" to everyone instead of helping to manage the play. In particular EVERY par 3 was 2 or 3 groups deep, even though once you got onto the par 4's or 5's things were still slow, but tolerably so. Whatever happened to waving up on a par 3? Waving up on the 3's seems like it would help this course's pace of play tremendously, but I never saw it done once. With a little attention to managing pace of play and speeding up the greens, this course might get up to five stars very quickly.
Had a great day
Played Friday morning at 8:40am. Great weather, course was in really good shape, didnt have anyone in front or behind us all day and great rate through Golf Now. This course is still worth regular price.
Resturant and bar staff are friendly and attentive.
Good playing conditions
Weather was great, course was in very good condition. Need to space out tee times more. Very slow pace of play. Paradise and it's sister course Rancho are the best muni courses in the area for your money.
Great weather for golf
The greens had been sanded in the past week other than that the course was in great shape
A beautiful scenery filled layout
This is a must play course. It is mostly flat, yet challenging. The landscaping, i.e., trees, creeks, some lakes and rolling hills and just beautiful scenery makes this course all the more inviting.
Paradise? Not quite.
Purchased golfnow package for cheap, but was still surprised to discover greens were punched and sanded. Even so, rest of course in nice condition.Challenging and interesting layout. We played from whites because of cold and wind, but had to work to score. Will definitely try this one again when greens are good.
Paradise golf
I can say that I once play this course definitely not on my list to play it again.
Overall golf course is in great condition.
Great time....but...
I always have a great time at this course. Its fun, in great shape, and a good deal. However, I will be bringing my own food and drink from now on. Every time I stop at the turn for something to eat, some of the young ladies who work the counter really make you feel unwelcome! I am spending money, but made to feel like Iam putting them out. At least try and put on your best FAKE smile. No smile, monotone voice and attitude I can do without. The golf course is great, but SOME of the staff in the restaurant can spoil the fun quick.
This golf course great good layout
Paradise valley golf course are very good challenge and layout is great !!!!!
Great place
As always you guys did a great job. Don't play there often because of how far away it is for me but, I have always enjoyed coming back.
Great Course!
It was my first time ever playing at this course, I've only been playing for a total of about 6 months and out of the 13 courses I've played in Northern Cali this would probably be the one that challenged me a bit more. A lot of the fairways are wide open; meaning that they are straight shots with a lot of hazards and bunkers around. This was also the 2nd time I dealt with Soft Sand as I found my ways out of bunkers. But for the drought we are under this has to be the most maintained, well kept, and professional staff I've ever played at. It was definitely worth $40.00. GPS on Carts which you don't really see at many golf courses. I will definitely be back at this course before I head back to Arizona. Great Course! Highly recommended for all Golfers whether you are a Rookie like me or a Pro.
We had a good time
First time on the course and we found it a pleasant experience. Some challenging holes. It was a calm day, but open layout could be tougher with wind.
Fun to play
This course makes you play golf. You're not just out there hitting the ball. Interesting water hazards and dog legs keep you thinking about yard ages and clubs. The greens played fair mostly.
Great time
Had a great time playing just wish the group of 12 in front of us would have let us play ahead of them other than that great course to play even for a beginner like me
paradise Valley is just a all out great lay out.
Wonderful course but a bit to expensive for any one who is not a Fairfield residence, with out golf now to costly, but like I said this is a place you want to PLAY!!! Beautiful course.
Great walking course
This is a well maintained full golf course. Easy to walk as it is virtually flat but with lots of trees and a few lakes. Large greens with plenty of character. Greens were recently aerated so give them a couple weeks and this course will be pristine. I am especially pleased to see the flag sticks now have reflectors making my range finder work perfectly.
This is a great course to play!
I always enjoy playing Paradise Valley. It offers a challenge and is maintained well.
Almost Paradise
Course plays tougher than it looks. It's flat & fairways are pretty wide, but posting a low score can be some work. The course is always in good shape and fun to play.
Happy Golfer
The course is well maintained, greens in great conditions and come to play in an excellent golf course.
