Paradise Valley Golf Course
About
Paradise Valley Golf Course was voted the top course in Solano County and it is considered one of the best values in the North Bay area. Mature oaks line the fairways and meandering creeks wander across the course, coming into play on nine holes. It is a good course for walkers but it is still quite a challenge from the back tees. Club selection and ball placement are equally important. Paradise Valley Golf Course's signature hole is the par-5 10th. It requires a trio of accurate shots beginning with a well placed tee shot just short of the lake that sets you up for the second shot. You will have to make it past a ravine and a massive oak tree in order to make it to the green, which is protected by both sand and grass bunkers.

Good variety of hole layouts
This is a fun course to play. Each hole is a different challenge. It's a flat landscape unlike it's sister course. Give it a try.
Very long. If you like your drive book here.
The course was challanging as this was the first time iv played there. It was super windy which was not much fun but they said it was usually 10 to 15 mph not the 35 mph we had all day. It had some really long holes but overall I enjopyed the course. I a,m a recreational golf with a 24 handicap so factor that in to be fair. I would recommend this course.
Weekends are slow
Tee time at 7:36, delyaed 10 minutes. 5 hour round. Really no reason for it at that time. Well other than slow golfers that are not asked to speed up and improper spacing of tee times.
Great price great course, was windy but still fun, want my group to move here.
Nice course, always a good play, will be back. To short stop wasting my time then, thanks.
very nice fun course. Marshall needs to pay more attention for pace of play.
This course has a very nice layout with water coming into play in several holes.Fairways and green in good shape. Usually well maintained with nice even speed in all greens. Only complaint was pace of play. Almost 5 hr. round with 4 groups of 2somes in front. Marshall never kept pace up for any groups nor did he recommended groups becoming 4 somes
Worth the drive
We came from Walnut Creek. Got a great deal on GolfNow. My buddy and I are both 3's. The course was in great shape, the greens a bit spongy but rolled nicely. Overall we found the course to be tough but fair (tips are just over 7k) and would go back again.
The course is eye candy.
I was a men's club member from the opening until 2001. I have not played the course for the last 12 years. It has matured to one of the finest municipal courses in Northern Californis. I did miss the old oak tree that fronted the 10th hole. The operator could provide divit filler as there was some deep gouges in the fairways.
Excellent value
The course was in great shape and the staff was friendly
Our favorite California course
This is our favorite local golf course. It was in excellent condition as usual. There were no tournaments so the pace of play was excellent.
The course was in great shape and friendly staff.
The course was in great shape, the staff was friendly and we had a good time. Look forward to coming back sometime soon!
The course is in excellent shape Tee to Green. Bunkers have consistant sand. Great value, well designed challenging track from all Tee boxes.
I love Paradise Valley. Darryl, Chris and Jonothan are always very helpful and sincere in making your visit to the course to be the best. I'm not familiar with the other names, but they are good too. Greens keeper gets 5 stars from me as this course gets played alot and stays in excellent shape Tee to Green. Greens are true and fair. The layout and Tee options will satisfy the scratch golfer and yet won't punish the weekend warriors too badly. I also need to mention that perhaps the best improvement is that they are gapping the Tee off a no. 1 by waiting for the group in front to reach the 1st par 5 green. I hope that continues as the backup on No. 3 Tee can be a drag.
Wind
Wind can make this course difficult except high scores lots of water tight fairways fun to play keep ball in the middle.
Great, beautiful course!
I like the way the course is laid out. I can tell the grounds are well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Exccellent condition and challending.
We played on a very windy day that made the course even more demanding. There are plenty of challenges on the course (lakes, creeks, bunkers, etc.) to keep you thinking your way around the course. The fairways and greens were in very good shape. The greens are somewhat fast and roll very true. It is hard to believe this is a muni course.
Paradise Valley GC is well worth a try.
Always an enjoyable experience
Great round and excellent pace. Greens were a little bumpy and slow, but wouldn't stop me from going back.
Wide fairways but challenging greens
Minus the crabby old couple we had to deal with, I had a great time at this course. Nice open fairways, but not so easy that you can just hack away. The cart girl was a smokeshow, and the setting was great. Wished I lived a little closer so I could play it more often.
The course is in great shape
Forgiving from the tee, more difficult on the approach. The fairways are perfect and the rough is nice and thick with no weeds. I would highly recommend playing here.
Done Right
Paradise Valley is a great example of a city owned course that is done right. The course was in very good shape, although I thought the greens were a little slow.
Good layout, as challenging as you would want. Overall, one of our favorite "away game" locations at a good value.
The features of the course are great.
Had wonderful time at Paradise, greens were sanded about three weeks ago and they were rolling pretty good , buy Friday they should be much better.
Enjoyed every minute at the course
I had a great time at this course, I haven't played in over a decade. I have to say it was one of the best experiences I have had in ten courses. The course was in great shape! They already have gone through aeration of all their greens and they're awesome. However there were some soggy patches on the course and a few bunkers in need of some sand. With that said, I would go back in a second. I suggest that if you find yourself near this course, you should absolutely take the time to play it
