Paradise Valley Golf Course
About
Paradise Valley Golf Course was voted the top course in Solano County and it is considered one of the best values in the North Bay area. Mature oaks line the fairways and meandering creeks wander across the course, coming into play on nine holes. It is a good course for walkers but it is still quite a challenge from the back tees. Club selection and ball placement are equally important. Paradise Valley Golf Course's signature hole is the par-5 10th. It requires a trio of accurate shots beginning with a well placed tee shot just short of the lake that sets you up for the second shot. You will have to make it past a ravine and a massive oak tree in order to make it to the green, which is protected by both sand and grass bunkers.

The greens were plugged, pace was slow.
We were not aware the greens were plugged until we were on the course. Played Sunday as a foursome, pace was 5+ hours, group ahead was very slow, 2 holes open in front.
A marshall was sent and spoke to the group, they moved a
bit faster, but still very slow.
The course needs some work.
Good course with challenging greens, yet still playable by all skill levels.
Paradise golf course is a fun and challenging course to play on. Large enough to be forgiving to low to average skill level players but still diverse enough for experienced players. With bathrooms and water bottles spread about the course and built in GPS with the golf card make the day enjoyable.
Good golfing experience, nice facility, nice layout and surrounding upscale area.
If a wood chuck could chuck, how much wood would a wood chuck chuck? It boggles the mind. There were no wood chucks on this course, so I couldn't add to my would chuck file.
Great time, great weather, great course in great condition for this time of the year.
Had a great time. The weather was fantastic. The course was in great shape for the this time of the year (winter). Will do it again real soon.
the course for the price was not up to par this trip
some of the bunkers were under repair and should have been expalined either at the desk or by the starter. The new signage along some of the fencing should have been identified on the scorecard but I did not see it.
Great course
Fun course, great greens, friendly staff, great practice facility.
Great course for a muni
The city of Fairfield has 2 courses that I think are one of the better value courses in the area. The staff at Paradise Valley are very accomodating and try to get everyone out even on very busy days. It's one of the few courses that have a GPS on the carts. It's very walkable and the club house have good eats.
Great course
A lot of intersting holes and fast greens in the noon time. we played at that time because of the cold weather. Nice driving range and a wonderful bar and food area. GPS on carts are always a plus even though we had our own. Loved the lay out and if someone wanted a nice course to walk.
Fantastic shape for time of year, very fast greens, great bar!
As always the course was in very fine condition. Pace of play was fine too. Carts with picture GPS is a nice benefit too. Bar food & drinks always a good value.
Fairfield's Gem
I have been playing this course for ove 13 years and it continues to evolve.
The course offers challenges to all levels and is kept in beautiful condition. While a sister course to Rancho Solano and share the same ownership and management, the course is quite differnt and most golfers state they prefer Paradise Valley.
The clubhouse offers a great restaurant and bar, one of the finest around.
Great value for a public course and the money.
Fairways were in excellent condition. Greens were also in very good shape.
Course drains great
I seldom rank anything excellent, but given the conditions Paradise Valley answered the bell. It was cart paths only and some areas out of the fairway were under water. The course played well, the staff was supportive despite our slow round and the greens were sturdy despite our recent weather. Paradise Valley played great on December 27!
great course, great value, great fun.
beautifully landscaped with sloping greens and wide fairways. A challenging, but fun course to play.
Perfect Golf Course for Everyone
I'm a semi-retired touring pro and when winter comes I head to Paradise Valley to play. I live in the Santa Rosa area. It is the best course in a 100 mile radius area for dry conditions when the rains come. Not only that, but the course is a great test of golf without seeing the same type of holes, hole after hole. Great design and rewards good play. It is a "Fun" course to play. Tell your friends!!!
Was a great day for golf
greens were running very fast but not necessarily "true". Course was in good shape.
Interesting course with a variety of tees to suit different levels.
Course layout is interesting with unusual holes , bunkering , and water hazards. Greens are large and if in fine condition would be even more scary with many undulations . On this day the greens were decent but still showing signs of a recent aeration which kept me from giving them the highest mark. The main problem was pace of play. The round took 5:15 to complete which made the back nine torturous considering the cold front that was moving in. Overall it was enjoyable and I would still recommend it, hopefully on a quicker moving day.
course was in good shape
greens are fast the course drains well after rain fairways were in good shape would recommend to a friend
nice course
always in great condition.
Greens were awesome.
18th hole got me again..
One of the better couse in this area
Marshall was a bit rude, insisted we speed up the play.
We were foresome playing between the twosome in front and twosome behind us.
It was a cart pass only day because of still wet course condition.
We still managed to finish under 5 hours.
Always wonderful to play Paradise Valley
Staff was great, cart lady was great. Had a great time. Course was full, so took longer than normal
