Nice Starter but "Old School"
The course is great and the bartender and staff are very friendly. Just one little thing bugged me. My hubby and I always play from the same tees. We choose them based on overall distance. We are seniors and my husband has bad knees so we often pick the forward tees as we did here. I normally out drive my husband, we both top out at 180 yards. The Starter made a big deal about my husband playing "the ladies tees". The USGA says "play it forward". I thought "ladies tees" was a term from a bygone era, but it's alive and well in Southern Indiana. They are Forward Tees. The Starter was friendly and even told us about a time he chased down a foresome of men to let them know they were too young for the Senior Tees they were standing on. Really!?
Never disappointed
I love CB, the course is always a great challenge. I highly recommend playing it if you've never been. The staff was great as always.
Stuck Behind a Group of 5
Excellent course and very friendly staff offering great service. Slow play because a group of 5 slowed us down to the point of waiting on every shot. We were two groups behind the group of 5.
Love this course
Priced a little high for me but I jump on a hot deal any chance I can. Worth the 30 minute drive from southern Louisville. Great food in the restaurant too
Fuzzy's Covered Bridge Course
An excellent experience. The greeter in the parking lot with the cart was friendly, the check in process was smooth, we started on time. The tee boxes, fairways and greens were in perfect condition.
Awesome Course!
First time playing this course and I had a blast! Course conditions were immaculate, GPS on carts, ice cold water every few holes, and great course layout. My only complaint would be the pace of play but even that wasn't too bad. Beware, no short par 3s which make it more challenging but lots of fun. To top it all off there is a tribute to my all time favorite golfer, Payne Stewart, on hole 12. Overall, great experience at Covered Bridge.
Nice course with GPS and a very nice cart staff
Course was wet after a heavy rain the night before but the course was in great condition. some very wet spots but obviously you can't control the weather. nice course well manicured Would play there anytime

Sorry about the wet spots! Hopefully next time the weather will hold up a bit better prior to your tee time. Thanks for the feedback. Looking forward to seeing you on the course again!
Call ahead
Greens were punched 10 days ago, they have about 2 more weeks left to heal. They rolled ok, and ran around 8 on the stimp. The fairways are being punched and dragged. We had to play the front 9 twice since the back was closed.
These are Soysia Fairways, and the dragging process is some sort of thatch removal, so they are thinning the grass in the FW a good amount.
jdc430,
Thank you for the review. We apologize for any inconvenience that may have been caused by the greens. We hope this does not deter you from coming back and playing with us again.
Awesome Course
This is a wondering course to play.

Thanks for your review! We are glad to hear you enjoyed our course. Come back and play again soon!
Excellent layout
The course was challenging. It had a variety of lengths, sand traps, and water hazards. The greens rolled true but seemed to be slow. The club house was amazing and the staff very nice. The attendants got our clubs from our cars and were very friendly.

We are glad to have given you a bit of a challenge on the course! Thank you for playing and we appreciate your 5 star review.
Not very good
I understand courses this time of year are not the best but covered bridge was bad. Dormant fairways with little pieces of mud all over I assume from aeriation was horrible. They could have whipped the dew off the greens, sand traps were unplayable, for whatever reason the restrooms on the course were locked. For $49.00 I expected better. To many twosomes on the course, and the yahoos in front of us playing the tips when they shouldn't be.
This course has a nice layout.
The greens were not as fast as usual. There was sand on the greens from what I thought was due to over seeding. Greens were in good condition and held well just not as quick as usual.
Thank you for playing Covered Bridge. We just aerified our course in mid-November so there is still sand on the greens from the aerification. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you again for playing our course.

Long time coming, worth the wait..
Golf course was a lot of fun. The first 7 holes are pretty straight forward, 3 is a pretty par 3, other than that it is straight cut. 8 is a hole very simular to 3, just plays uphill instead of down, probably the hardest hole on the golf course. 9 is a beautiful hole, great look up the fairway to the clubhouse with the water on your left. The back 9 tighens up a bit, but nothing crazy. 18 is a mirror image of 9, they even share a green.
The guys in the clubhouse was very friendly, the food was good for a $3 burger, and a few good drink choices.
Overall, a very nice course
This was my first time playing one of Fuzzy's courses and I expected it to be a well maintained challenging course. It didn't let down in the least. Fairways, tees, greens all in immaculate condition. There were a couple bunkers with standing water in them but it didn't affect my game because I avoided them. It was a shorter course from the tees I played, about 6500 yards. Lots of tree lined and house lined fairways to make you play safe and not bomb everything. My only complaint is that the folks in the clubhouse weren't the friendliest... They were almost offended that this was my first time playing there and that I showed up by myself. Luckily I didn't let them ruin my round and I still had a great time on the course.
Always great shape
I've played course several times before and always in good condition. Staff in pro shop and restaurant super friendly and helpful. Well worth the price and great value. As we were leaving we were already planning our next trip back to Covered Bridge.
Worth the value
Course is in great condition other than what Mother Nature dumped on the course. Nice course and challenging
Good golf
Enjoyed the experience and the condition of the course very much.
One of top courses in area
Overall I would rated Fuzzy Zollers Covered Bridge Golf Course course, club house & faculty very nice.

Thanks SO much for your feedback. We will definitely check in with our staff and retrain as necessary as you are 100% correct. Everyone should play to enjoy and have fun. In a social golf round, tees are for determining the distance you would enjoy to play. It is up to each golfer to decide where to play from and how to post their necessary scores. PLAY IT FORWARD …. And often :) Thank you for playing and posting…. We love the feedback.
