Good golf
Enjoyed the experience and the condition of the course very much.
One of top courses in area
Overall I would rated Fuzzy Zollers Covered Bridge Golf Course course, club house & faculty very nice.
Traditional style course
Fuzzy Zoeller's Covered Bridge is an excellent track that stays true to the traditional American golf course. Hitting fairways opens the course up to scoring. However, long par 3s and tough greens can lead to big numbers if players are not accurate off of the tee. I was very impressed with Fuzzy's design, and plan to play again anytime I get the chance.
Great Facility and Great Value
This course was very enjoyable and the people in the pro shop were great.
Recommended!
This was my first time but an unbelievable first time it was. From the tee box to greens, everything was well manicured which made the play absolutely better. The bunkers weren't too bad but really, who plays in the bunkers? The facilities were top notch which coincided with the friendliness of the staff. I would definitely recommend this course.
Excellent Course - Will Return
This was my first time at C.B. It was simply an amazing course.
The course was in excellent shape, fairways were manicured properly and greens played true.
The staff was excellent as well. Very hospitable, welcoming and friendly!
10/10
One of my favorites in Louisville KY area
Has nice clubhouse with great bar/dining room overlooking course. Course is a reasonable challenge for intermediate golfer. Well managed and maintained.
Relaxing round in beautiful setting
This is one of my favorite courses. Well designed and challenging enough, but not too challenging, to provide a very enjoyable and relaxing day.
Expensive
Played in late April and conditions wee poor. Greens were OK fairways were spotty and full of weeds. Not worth $55.00 for a weekday round.
Challenging Course
Course is a challenging round of golf. The fairways were not in very good shape for mid April, but we had just recently had a bunch of rain which prevented the grounds crew from servicing them like they probably needed to be. Several patches of weeds were in the fairway and was overdue for a grass cutting. The greens seemed to be somewhat inconsistent with some being fast and some being slow. We use the golf now hot deal and enjoyed our day in the sun. I will come back knowing this course is in much better shape normally. We look forward to playing there again.
Excellent condition
Considering all the rain we've had recently the course was well manicured and in great condition. Fairway lies were excellent and the rough was challenging but fair. Greens were true and consistent. Bunkers were raked with loose playable sand contrary to other courses I've played recently that had packed hard sand. Over all very enjoyable and fun.
Another good day at Fuzzy"s
Course was in great shape for this time of year.
Plenty of challenging holes to test your game.
Greens are good and traps are also.
Fairways are still dormant but plenty of grass.
lets play golf
Still dormant for the most part but better than 90% of the places to play, Go FUZZY
Good course
I've played this course many times and love it. Of course it's dormit right now so everything is brown but that's to be expected. Green had been punched so they were a little bumpy. Still in good overall shape and one of my favorite courses!
Winter golf is never "great" course conditions
I must be honest, we were not super golf happy leaving Covered Bridge. We had a great time, the golf there requires good long tee shots to score well. Conditions, for weather or the course were not on either of their best days. We played on a 38 degree day, right after green aeration so they were full of holes and lots of sand and hard to roll straight putt within 3-4 feet.. The traps were sitting winter dormant with no maintenance. The fairways had lots of leaves and my buddy lost lots of balls. It was cart path only so looking for balls in leaves was not great fun. The course is a real challenge. I shot my normal 87. We have been spoiled playing Otter Creek, Timbergate, Champions Pointe and The Legends with Hot Deals. Covered Bridge has nice golf holes, but, I just didn't feel the Wow. I know this is winter golf and winter rate prices so we will wait to play Covered Bridge and hope for a better day and experience.
Last Visit to Covered Bridge
Very average course that usually demands a premium price for the name. Played 18 for $35 in early November. Terrific starters - very accommodating and friendly. That's where the customer focus ended. Check in at the Pro Shop was less than cordial, but the biggest issue was the grounds crew. On several holes, greens were being sprayed in front of our group - not a problem, we waited for them to clear - but it really would've been helpful for the flags to have been replaced after the treatment. On other holes the maintenance team drove or worked through our group (chipping) and began grass cutting and some leaf removal while guests were putting. The course was relatively empty - plenty of gaps between groups to allow this to not interfere with play. Won't be back.
Best of Indiana
Beautiful course with outstanding scenery. Course has multiple tees for every level of play, and can be extremely difficult from the tips. Highly recommend the course, but do not believe the 4.5 hr to play comments from staff. The first nine took 1:50 minutes complete, and then we found our group sitting at the tenth tee for a long while. It appears that locals come to number 10 whenever they feel like it. There were five groups sitting there when we made the turn, and only one had been in front of us. The others came from the dining area. Total round took 5:05 hrs. No rangers, no staff on course at all. Be aware.
Kentuky Autumn
This is a beautiful wide-open course, wide enough for the most part to not hit it straight down the fairway and still be able to get on the green within par. This particular course reminded me of Aruba although there was a whole lot less Sand here. If you like to walk this would be the ideal course although it affords very little shade it is flat for the most part.
