It is sad to see what poor condition the course is in. They really need to get a handle on the watering problems.

I always enjoy playing out here. Played out here many times. The course is usually in pretty good shape and greens are usually pretty good and fast, although this last round they were a little slow which was a surprise. Pace of play is pretty normal depending on the time you get out. I've always enjoyed the views of the hills and mountains with the deer that kinda walk around like they get along with humans. The shape of the course is usually good. Doesn't drain all that well in the winter so just be aware that if you get out in the winter it may be a little wet but still totally playable. Overall I would recommend the course. The snack bar and restaurant/bar are great.

First time to play this course since 1973. Had a wonderful time with it.

Nice golf course, it hasn't recovered from the wet winter. It looks as if they haven't been able to mow.

Nice course. It was very shaggy, fairways and greens needed mowing but they looked too wet to mow effectively. Nice layout with mature trees.

Perfect day, course had plugs in the fairway and greens, but otherwise fine

course still has places where our balls almost completely plugged.We were able to play on the 90 degree rule with the carts.It was great to play on a beautiful.none of our foursome was pleased with the pin placements.The game is hard enough as it is.

The course was in good shape the greens are really dry tbd ball keep rolling off back of green otherwise had a good time.

Considering the rain we'd had, the course was in pretty good condition, although some of my shots still plugged on the fairway and in the rough. Lost 3 balls in places I wouldn't have expected to.

The tee boxes and greens were excellent.

Because of the time of year there were few leaves on the trees - it meant you could try going through as opposed to round them! In the summer it will all be about ball positioning.

A little slow at times but not too bad.

This is a fun course. Things are finally starting to dry out from the rains.

My G/F and I chose this as our first round of golf in CA. Wish they would have been closed and not allowing play that day. They were cart path only, but in my opinion, it wasn't enough, The course was beyond saturated. To state that the course was wet, would be a understatement. In their defense they did get over 7 in of rain prior to our arrival. But, we lost over 16 balls in 18 holes with fairway shots or just off of the fairway. The ground swallowed many good shots with no traces of same. There definitely should have been a cheaper rate for this course in its current conditions. i would play it again, but during better conditions

I play here often and like this course. However there needs to be some code that indicates cart path only when booking. I am a senior with knee replacements and was advised of the cart restriction only upon arrival. Consequently played only seven holes.

Fun course, layout was great. The only thing was loosing golf balls due to the amount of leaves around the trees. So I would suggest playing off the fairways lol..... I would play I the course again.

This was my first time here. I drove over an hour to come play this course. I get their e-mails all the time, and it looks amazing. Well, it is AMAZING! The design is great, the greens were perfect! (Rolled true) The tee boxes were awesome, whole course was like a golf course should be.

I feel this isn't a true testimony to the overall course, but this happened... The front nine took about 2 hours 20 min... okay thats fine. We make the turn and their are 3 carts on the 10th tee box. I am now watching a 6-some tee off. Yes, 6. So I wait, and wait, and wait, and finally tee off. Then I get up to my ball, and wait, and wait, and wait some more for the group of 6 to clear the green. I look over to the 11th tee box, and there is a FIVE-some there. So we have 2 groups of golfers, with 11 golfers total. I look to the 12th hole, no one. I look to the 13th hole, that group is clearing the green. These two large groups are now 2 entire holes behind, and NO MARSHAL IN SITE! I couldn't believe it. We jumped ahead two holes because honestly, that is just not acceptable. We saw the marshall 3 times on the front 9 and assumed they were making sure to keep the pace. After we skip the slowdown, we catch up with the next group, just to find out that there is no one within 2 holes infant of them. I just could not believe it.

The course was great, like I mentioned above, it was just what you wanted out of a golf course in terms of layouts and greens. But, the fact that the staff could not maintain a decent pace of play here, really bummed me out. I hear that normally it has a GREAT pace, I guess i caught the course on an off day. Bummer...

Side note: Golf advisor thinks I'm a female. I am a male BTW.

I have played here many times and, in general, really enjoy the course. The one drawback is that more times than not, the rough does not get cut regularly and balls get lost, even if you know where they landed. Over-watering leaves some spots very mushy as well and the combination of those 2 things can make it tough if you venture off the fairway. However, the greens were in very nice condition, albeit faster than most courses in the area.

Can't complain too much for the price, though. Pace of play was very slow on the front nine but, picked up on the back.

Tee to green, this course is easy. Interesting, but easy. The greens are something else. Like many Donald Ross greens, the usable portion of the surface is often less than 70% of the total area, with false fronts and false sides on nearly every hole. Better be able to chip.

Good course with hreat greens. Fairways needed some help.
