About
Ocean City Golf Club offers two championship courses: Newport Bay and Seaside. Opened in 1959, the Seaside Course is the club's original layout and since opening it has remained an Eastern shore favorite. It has a more traditional design than the other course, which underwent a renovation and rebuild. Seaside offers classic greens tightly lined with bunkers that are balanced with wide-open, player-friendly fairways. It is a challenging but playable test that is popular amongst locals. Five sets of tees make it even more approachable. The views of the marshes and bay, as well as the trees, give the course the feel of one in the Carolinas. In addition to the two courses, Ocean City Golf Club also offers a driving range and putting green before teeing off.

Very playable
Course is not difficult, but very golfer friendly . Great shape.
Seaside
Nice Course, Bad weather day
Great for all caliber of players
Very nice day spent on this course. The ruff could have been cut a little lower but fairways and greens are in great shape. Challenging yet enjoyable to play.
Great course
This is a great course , with a very friendly staff and a really good value .
Breezy by the Bay
Nice course to warm up on when traveling to Ocean City. Very flat easy to walk. Good pace of play, Friendly staff, along with a nice 19th hole. pretty much a straight forward course, no real surprises.
Great Day for golf!
Nice course, in great shape, fast greens. A little slow play due to crowded conditions.
Great deal
Very good course, was in good shape, the t-times were running approximately 10 minutes behind so the staff was giving out free refreshments. Pace of play was good. Highly recommend and I will play again.
Ocean City Golf Club - Seaside
The course was in good shape and pleasant, though not challenging to play. The pace of play was good until we caught up to a group of some 6 or 7 foursomes for whom the drinking, shouting and cursing were clearly the highlights of the day. Even though their behavior was observed by the person operating the drink cart, no action was taken by management either to speed them up or shut them up. These people spoiled the day and we did not finish our round. Fortunately, we had a great Golf Now rate, so even the 16 holes we played we a bargain.
Good for higher handicaps
Reasonably priced with tree lined fairways on most holes where errant shots can be played back to the fairways. No forced carries over marsh like many of the other OC courses. Conditioning OK but not spectacular.
Enjoyed the scenery
The course plays fair The staff are friendly. Newport bay offers view on the water. My overall impression of the course are good it's worth playing
Horrible
Course conditions horrible! Would not recommend. They have 2 courses here. If you use golf now, they make you play at the "seaside" course that is horrible. The other course there is much better but they said since we payed through golf now we play on seaside course. Do not play this one... Conditions are horrible, would not recommend and will not go back!
OC trip
Please put some water on the course. You can't get a drink until you make the turn. 90 degrees plus without a cold drink is tough. The staff told us there was a drink cart on the course but we never saw it. Ranger and pro shop staff courteous. One other thing, the course is called seaside and the water is a distant view.
Great Course - Great Condition
The course was in excellent condition. Greens were well maintained. Speed of play slightly slow, but overall a great experience.
Great value
The course was having a special this weekend for green fees. We found the course to be in great shape with a friendly staff. While we teed off at 3:15 there was nobody on front or behind us. Would come back next time in OC
Well worth it
Played the Seaside course and was impressed with the condition and layout. Pace of play left a little to be desired but wasn't horrible. Looking forward to getting back to play Newport Bay.
good value
We got this course at a rate of 27.50 per player. Honestly I wouldn't pay more than 30 or 35 for seaside... No water views. Though the bunkers, fairways and greens were nice. Although the greens were a little slow for my liking. To go out and knock the ball around it's not a bad course but I feel there are better options in the OC area.
Great course: Newport course
This course is in great shape! The only caveat is that there are a lot of Mosquitos, especially when the grass is being cut. Where long pants when playing this course.
Even with the Mosquitos, I really enjoyed playing this course.
Long time, no play
Had not played the Seaside course at Ocean City golf and yacht club, and was pleasantly surprised at all aspects of the course. It is not a difficult course, but the conditions were excellent, the staff was friendly, and it was a nice experience. Also, it helped that we were paired with two very nice guys who were good players.
Hope to get back to the Newport course there, but had a great time at Seaside.
