About
Ocean City Golf Club offers two championship courses: Newport Bay and Seaside. Opened in 1959, the Seaside Course is the club's original layout and since opening it has remained an Eastern shore favorite. It has a more traditional design than the other course, which underwent a renovation and rebuild. Seaside offers classic greens tightly lined with bunkers that are balanced with wide-open, player-friendly fairways. It is a challenging but playable test that is popular amongst locals. Five sets of tees make it even more approachable. The views of the marshes and bay, as well as the trees, give the course the feel of one in the Carolinas. In addition to the two courses, Ocean City Golf Club also offers a driving range and putting green before teeing off.

Long time, no play
Had not played the Seaside course at Ocean City golf and yacht club, and was pleasantly surprised at all aspects of the course. It is not a difficult course, but the conditions were excellent, the staff was friendly, and it was a nice experience. Also, it helped that we were paired with two very nice guys who were good players.
Hope to get back to the Newport course there, but had a great time at Seaside.
Seaside review
Nice course, in strong condition, challenging but not too hard. Definite value with Golf Now discount. Only draw back- hole markings/course layout. As an out of Towner, not knowing where the hole went or hazards and bunkers were cost a few strokes.
Play Newport Bay over Seaside
We played Seaside first, followed by the front nine at Newport Bay and there was a clear difference between the two courses. Seaside was well maintained from tee to green but the layout was basic (back and forth) and there were zero views. Also the mosquitoes were BAD! The front 9 at Newport Bay was much better as far as course layout and lack of mosquitoes. I would go back, but definitely spend the extra $5 to play Newport Bay.
Don't forget your Off
We played Seaside. Course was in excellent condition and provided a good challenge for us 20 handicappers. Restaurant and locker room were very nice for this price course. Staff was very friendly and the marshal even let us use his insect repellant. This has always been a mosquito haven so repellant is a must. Other than that this is a great mid priced place to play.
Nice time
First off. Bring bug spray. I had more mosquito bites than strokes today and they were going right through my shirt. Course was in good shape. Its not the best course in OC MD but for the price from GOLF NOW it was well worth it. If you are looking for a reasonable priced course with decent conditions and avg difficulty this place isn't bad.
What a blast!
Not sure what to expect this being the first time to OC Golf Club. What a wonderful surprise. Couldn't beat for the money, course in wonderful shape. The Staff was awesome. A special shout out to Michael, Tom and Marci
Excellent Value
Seaside is the less expensive course at OCGC, and a great value. Course was in very good condition and pace of play was excellent; played in slightly under 4 hours. They have separate practice greens for putting and chipping; I didn't use the driving range. Staff was friendly and cart girl visited serveral times.
The course was average
It was what I expected for this time of the year. The wind was extremely high.r
Play was slow
Never saw a ranger come around during round. Play was slow. Course was OK. I expected more water in play with the Seaside name. Course had no holes that were unique. Most of holes seemed to be the same layout.
Would play again
Great value for the price. Course in good shape, weather great for fall. Expect wind to affect game during round
Good value
Played the seaside course as part of a golf weekend.
Course was in average condition -
Greens - good
Fairways - avg
Tee boxes - avg to poor
Rough -avg to poor
This is in comparison to other courses in the area. But the value for the money spent is good. We have various levels of golfers in our foursome so it was a more enjoyable course for the higher handicapped golfer. Will definitely go back because of the value and it is a fun course to play.
Good course
OC just got 3+ inches of rain last 3 days so was cart path only but overall course was in good shape staff extremely friendly and courteous
Seaside Course
Nice course, very clean in woods.
No. 16 great Par 5, small greens.
