About
Ocean City Golf Club offers two championship courses: Newport Bay and Seaside. Opened in 1959, the Seaside Course is the club's original layout and since opening it has remained an Eastern shore favorite. It has a more traditional design than the other course, which underwent a renovation and rebuild. Seaside offers classic greens tightly lined with bunkers that are balanced with wide-open, player-friendly fairways. It is a challenging but playable test that is popular amongst locals. Five sets of tees make it even more approachable. The views of the marshes and bay, as well as the trees, give the course the feel of one in the Carolinas. In addition to the two courses, Ocean City Golf Club also offers a driving range and putting green before teeing off.

Average Course
The other course had a member/guest tournament going on so we could play that course. I would skip this course and play the other course. A few bucks more, but clearly they spend more time maintaining the other course.
Great course, always great condition.
Both courses at Ocean City (Newport and Seaside) are always in great condition, offer a challenge for golfers of all levels with many interesting holes. The staff is always helpful and friendly, but not pushy about it. Never had a bad experience there and have played there at least 20 times per year since 2006.
Good course for all handicaps
We played Seaside .. I couldn't help but notice that each hole is challenging but fair .. There are no required 200 yard carries over marsh or water .. no extremely narrow fairways ... but most par 4s and 5s have doglegs and are well-bunkered ..Very playable
Great course for the price
Greens were in excellent shape and so were the fairways. I would add some more ponds to make it a bit tougher and I would rate it a 5. Rough is tough to hit out of but that is what they made fairways.
This course is beautiful and well kept. Lots of picture like scenery
Course met all expectations. Lots of sand and water, beautiful fairways. greens very soft and in excellent condition. The only bad thing I could say and this was a fault of a couple bad drives, is stay away from wood edges bugs were vicious!
Great course but short
Great condition from tee to greens. Cart girl came frequent but there was no drinking water on the course.
Wide open with no trouble
This course is good if you just want to get out and swing the club. I went with my daughter who is just learning the game and the course was perfect for her. Very wide open course with little trouble. If you are looking for something more scenic there are many other courses that offer much better quality. I have played about 8 different courses in this area and this course is just ok.
Just the Best!
We played the SeaSide Course. The course was in excellent shape. The staff was outstanding. The greens were perfect. The whole experience left us wanting more. Will play again when visiting Ocean City. If you are coming to OC play Ocean City Golf Club.
nice course
I have played here several times over the years. It is a great place to have fun and enjoy a round. Not a very difficult course but, it is well maintained...
The "Seaside" course does not border the water.
Small tricky greens make this a challenge to score on.
super scenic and challenging
Wife and I pylayed 18 in the morning on the seaside course. Well maintained and ordinary. Greens mid speed. However , in the afternoon we played 18 on Newport bay. Super scenic and super challenging. Breeze blowing off the marshes with speedy greens. Great experience, would certainly choose over seaside. Although not for the average golfer.
Well groomed course!
I found the course to be very fair with few obstacles. As a 21 handicapper, shooting an 89 on any course is satisfying!
$25 was a steal for this course!!!
$25 on a weekend in the resort area is a steal for any course. We played the Seaside Course (which is the less expensive of their 2 courses). The greens had been punched; but were top dressed properly and still rolled pretty good. The course isn't super long, but well-placed shots are required as much of the course is wooded. We played at a very nice pace also. We never waited on any shot. The staff was friendly and we got some food at the turn. $6 for a cheeseburger, chips, and a draft beer! This course isn't the most eye-catching course in OC, but it is one of the best values in the area!!! We will look for similar deals in the future.
Good Fall golf.
The course survived the hurricane and was in good condition except wet on some holes. Tees needed some attention but greens were overall good. Manmade hills offered some challenges.

Seaside course cart path made it fast and easy to play a round.

Weather wasn't on our side, Chilly and cloudy but that didn't make for a great day of golf on a great course. Seaside is an older course but it was in great shape. No complaints about the course at all. Burger from the restaurant was really good. Would recomend this course for the money. Also I got my first ever Birdie on this course
Okay but not inspiring
This course was okay but not particularly inspiring. All holes seemed similar to others. Maintained well and staff cordial but not overly friendly. If I did not have better options in area, would go back, but I do have better options. Name of course implies view of water but none to be seen.
