About
Ocean City Golf Club boasts 36 holes of championship golf. The Seaside Course opened in 1959 and it was later joined by the Newport Bay Course. Both offer scenic views of the surrounding marshes and bay. Newport Bay is a formidable challenge but it will test your ability to think strategically, not your distance. Strategically placed bunkers come into play and the subtle contours of the landscape were utilized to their full extent. The course is a formidable test but it is player friendly enough to appeal to all skill levels. The golf course also touts some of the most scenic views on the Mid-Atlantic coast, although the surroundings are more Carolinian in feel. Both of Ocean City's courses offer something different. Seaside has a more traditional design but both offer plenty of variety.

Amazing course
This was my first time playing this course and I just say it was simply amazing. Great layout, had a few easy holes to gain your confidence then they throw a challenge at you right around the corner. This course definitely demands some accuracy and thought in each shot. There are several hazards on each hole to navigate around to test your skill. I am a beginner so I found this very challenging, but I was playing with more experienced golfers and they had the same things to say, challenging, fun, definitely keeps you on your toys. The staff was friendly and helpful with any questions. The rate of play was surprisingly smooth considering it was one of the few warm days we had there in a while, the place was packed but it never held up play. I will definitely be back to this course many more times. Hopefully lose a few less balls in the waters and marshes surrounding the greens and fareways.

Wonderful day on the Newport’ course. Very good condition and the weather cooperated. Really love the views and the course layout.
Arguably the best bang for the golf buck at the beach. Sevearl f the other courses charge an obscene amount to play in the Summer. Note: The better course is Newport Bay, it's along the intercostal.The irony is that Seaside has no water views and is an distant 2nd to Newport.

Great Course
This is a beautiful course with wonderful views of the marsh, wetlands and water. These make the course interesting and challenging for accuracy. Fun course and it was in good shape in mid September.
Scenic views of the bay . Course was in great shape. Challenged my game a bit. Definitely will play here again
Great course
Always enjoy the staff friendliness and great atmosphere. A country club feel with great conditions. Can’t find the views of surrounding waters unless you’re in Myrtle Beach. Always on my list to play.
Great time!
It was a very hot day, but the course was in great shape! I loved the fact that it was a fair layout that made you think and challenged you to make a few shots that you may be a little uncomfortable with. I’ll be back, for sure!
Pretty course
The course was in good shape with some great views of the bay. It felt like there was some water/Marsh views from about half of the holes. I really like the clubhouse/pro shop as well. My only complaint is that there could be been more water coolers.
Hot and humid day
Hottest and most humid day I have ever played golf!!!!!! The curse was good however they need water buckets on the course!!!! None to be found. The pro said their was one but I never found it the cart girl did come several times. Golf good weather bad heat index was over 100 !!!!!
Threat day for golf
Played in the twosome my partner was late due to an accident on route 50 they held the teatime for a half hour very accommodating and very friendly staff nothing but good things to say about the entire place!!! Great course nice layout conditions were excellent the day was low 80s no humidity Golf could not have been better.
Enjoyable Golf
Newport Bay is an enjoyable place to play golf. The layout has several holes had expansive views of the bay as you make your way around the course. It is in very fine condition, the greens are beautiful. The staff is professional and also friendly. You feel welcome there.
I hope more golfers take advantage of this gem.
