Ocean City Golf Club - Newport Bay

Great conditions in July, beautiful fairways, tee boxes and greens. Good pace just under 4 hours. Beautiful views of bay and marshes. Only complaints - need map of course on scorecard or tee box. Had to use Google maps satellite view to see overhead view of holes. Tough for first time playing here on a few of them. Clubhouse has the coldest beer on tap. Great price on GolfNow.

We had a great time today. The course was in excellent condition.

I love the course. It was very challenging. I definitely want to play it again. I would recommend it to anybody who's interesting in a challenging game

Newport Bay is one of my local favorite courses to play. The back nine has lots of scenic views of the wetlands and nature. Greens were awesome.

Fairways and greens as well as tee boxes in great shape. Loved it! Will be back.

We golfed Newport Bay this past Friday, the starter Chris did an exceptional job, getting us out for our 8:12 am tee time. The pace of play was great, we finished our round in less that 4 hours. The course is challenging with several dog legs and protected holes with water, marsh and sand. We had a great time!

This course is very difficult if you’ve never been there. My only wish is to at least have a picture of the hole on the scorecard just for an idea of what the hole looks like. Otherwise, absolutely gorgeous course. Will be back in 3 weeks!!

Weather, conditions were perfect. The fairway and greens were in superb shape. We played from white tees, about 6,000 yds. Beautiful views of bay and sound, breezy and mostly full course with steady pace,

Nice 1st 3 holes, than it gets better and better and better, scenic, and challenging.

For the money, I would recommend this course. Most places at the beach are $100 plus and this was 1/2 of that. The condition of the greens was surprisingly good, the rest of the course was kind of shaggy. If you're cheap, and you know who you are, this is the place for you.

We played the Seaside course..of course there is no seaside to be seen. Sorry...but this is the kind of course I played when I was 16 and learning to play. It's a dog track...clearly they are not doing the maintenance necessary. Cart paths are a wreck. Some of the tee boxes we had a tough time finding grass. Our tee off was 30 minutes delayed as the starter kept sending people off. The club house feels like the land that time forgot. Again sorry....but this place needs some tlc both on the course and in the amenities.

Still early season conditions but very good. Greens rolling, true fairways good shape but tight lies as the grass is still a little brown. Sand traps very good tees just fine and the rough was not real tall. Nice layout with lots of trouble waiting if your start spraying it. Not unbearably tight driving but if you hit a bad one could find some water. really pretty views of marshland and a bay on the back nine, The wind blows pretty stiff off the water and added to the challenge. well worth the trip hope to play it often.

Since we arrived we have experienced nothing but a frenzied mess of a golf course. The starter told us to go to the wrong course, not to mention rudely. The course condition is terrible. Starters are literally incopentant. First and last time I’ll be playing this course. The only positive is we payed half of what others paid!

Great value for the money, greens had been aerated and sanded but still rolled true, fairways and rough were were still dormant, brutal playing conditions with cold and wind, all agreed would love to play again when the grass is actively growing

Because of the time of year and weather conditions the course was wet, and there weren’t that many players. I couldn’t get hooked up with a twosome or threesome , and had to play alone.

was cold and windy, sprinkled a little rain also. Condition is what was expected for mid winter golf in this area. Cart path only made it a little longer day than what I wanted. No standing water though.
