About
Ocean City Golf Club boasts 36 holes of championship golf. The Seaside Course opened in 1959 and it was later joined by the Newport Bay Course. Both offer scenic views of the surrounding marshes and bay. Newport Bay is a formidable challenge but it will test your ability to think strategically, not your distance. Strategically placed bunkers come into play and the subtle contours of the landscape were utilized to their full extent. The course is a formidable test but it is player friendly enough to appeal to all skill levels. The golf course also touts some of the most scenic views on the Mid-Atlantic coast, although the surroundings are more Carolinian in feel. Both of Ocean City's courses offer something different. Seaside has a more traditional design but both offer plenty of variety.

Great golf facility
The Newport Bay course is always a favorite when I am in the Ocean City area. Conditions, staff friendliness, practice facilities, and 19th hole are always excellent. The are beautiful bay views along 7 holes and makes you feel like you are playing through the wetlands in Myrtle Beach.
Great Course
I'm a local but always enjoy getting the chance to play Newport Bay. The greens are great, a lot of wetland views.
Newport course in excellent condition
I have played the ocean city GC Newport course many times but today’s conditions were the best. The scoring in our group was great as conditioning dictated low scoring!
Buyer beware
I was asked to play with some friends who got a reciprocal rate, we played on a Monday morning, walk up rate of $85 seems very high for this course. No gps , range balls not included, every bunker needed to be raked. They had lots of workers out mowing , greens were good , the wind was brutal.
We were only ones eating afterwards and I ordered a turkey Rueben and they had no thousand island dressing.
Cart attendant was very friendly, I would play again but use golf now for a much better rate
Nice course...
Great conditions in July, beautiful fairways, tee boxes and greens. Good pace just under 4 hours. Beautiful views of bay and marshes. Only complaints - need map of course on scorecard or tee box. Had to use Google maps satellite view to see overhead view of holes. Tough for first time playing here on a few of them. Clubhouse has the coldest beer on tap. Great price on GolfNow.

We had a great time today. The course was in excellent condition.
Challenging course
I love the course. It was very challenging. I definitely want to play it again. I would recommend it to anybody who's interesting in a challenging game
Great course to play
Newport Bay is one of my local favorite courses to play. The back nine has lots of scenic views of the wetlands and nature. Greens were awesome.

Fairways and greens as well as tee boxes in great shape. Loved it! Will be back.
Lots of dog legs!
We golfed Newport Bay this past Friday, the starter Chris did an exceptional job, getting us out for our 8:12 am tee time. The pace of play was great, we finished our round in less that 4 hours. The course is challenging with several dog legs and protected holes with water, marsh and sand. We had a great time!
Hope description
This course is very difficult if you’ve never been there. My only wish is to at least have a picture of the hole on the scorecard just for an idea of what the hole looks like. Otherwise, absolutely gorgeous course. Will be back in 3 weeks!!
Golf on Sinepuxent Sound
Weather, conditions were perfect. The fairway and greens were in superb shape. We played from white tees, about 6,000 yds. Beautiful views of bay and sound, breezy and mostly full course with steady pace,

Nice 1st 3 holes, than it gets better and better and better, scenic, and challenging.
Value course
For the money, I would recommend this course. Most places at the beach are $100 plus and this was 1/2 of that. The condition of the greens was surprisingly good, the rest of the course was kind of shaggy. If you're cheap, and you know who you are, this is the place for you.
