About
Ocean City Golf Club boasts 36 holes of championship golf. The Seaside Course opened in 1959 and it was later joined by the Newport Bay Course. Both offer scenic views of the surrounding marshes and bay. Newport Bay is a formidable challenge but it will test your ability to think strategically, not your distance. Strategically placed bunkers come into play and the subtle contours of the landscape were utilized to their full extent. The course is a formidable test but it is player friendly enough to appeal to all skill levels. The golf course also touts some of the most scenic views on the Mid-Atlantic coast, although the surroundings are more Carolinian in feel. Both of Ocean City's courses offer something different. Seaside has a more traditional design but both offer plenty of variety.

Nice course
Course was in great shape, considering recent rain. The greens were perfect.
Challenging course with beautiful scenery
Played this course twice on our foursome golf trip. Very surprised at the excellent layout, condition of the greens and scenery as compared to the Seaside course. We had a great time and will put it on the list for next year!
Average Front 9, Back 9 worth a play
Nothing special about the front nine at Newport Bay, your average run of the mill course. The back nine takes much better advantage of the surroundings, providing nice views and an interesting layout. Several holes where the marsh and water come into play, making for some more interesting shots as opposed to the front nine. Staff was friendly but did not go the extra mile to make the experience complete. Bag drop team seemed a bit scattered, no club cleaning at the finish. Kitchen was closed at 4pm. Worth a play if you're local. Will try another course next time down there though.
Enjoyable course
Lots of fun. The course is challenging but rewads good shots. For the time of year, it was in very good condition. I'd gladly play here again.
Good on a windy Sunday morning
The course is in good condition, as a beginning player I found it reasonably challenging. They need to improve the signage for the holes and directions to the next tee.

Great Round
Course was in prime condition due to a Pro/AM going on the prior two days. Regardless the course was healthy and clean and I play this course at least twice a month. And would say it’s in top 5 due to afordability.
Gorgeous course in very good condition, with very hospitable staff. I would highly recommend it to others!
Great course no water coolers
Course is great, conditions great, staff great. However it was a very hot & humid day and there are no water coolers. A water fountain at the turn was it! There was a food & beverage cart but we did not see them enough! There should be water cooler every 3 to 4 holes!
Hot Deal for a Hot Day
Ocean City Golf Club normally reserves this course for members and events and general public typically plays their other course. Temperature was upper 90's and very sunny, but a little breeze off the water helped. Challenging day of golf. Course is in very good condition. Enjoyable to play.
Beautiful course
The course was in excellent condition. The views are amazing and there were a variety of holes. Would definitely play again and highly recommend! Got a great price on GolfNow
Great golf facility
The Newport Bay course is always a favorite when I am in the Ocean City area. Conditions, staff friendliness, practice facilities, and 19th hole are always excellent. The are beautiful bay views along 7 holes and makes you feel like you are playing through the wetlands in Myrtle Beach.
Great Course
I'm a local but always enjoy getting the chance to play Newport Bay. The greens are great, a lot of wetland views.
Newport course in excellent condition
I have played the ocean city GC Newport course many times but today’s conditions were the best. The scoring in our group was great as conditioning dictated low scoring!
Buyer beware
I was asked to play with some friends who got a reciprocal rate, we played on a Monday morning, walk up rate of $85 seems very high for this course. No gps , range balls not included, every bunker needed to be raked. They had lots of workers out mowing , greens were good , the wind was brutal.
We were only ones eating afterwards and I ordered a turkey Rueben and they had no thousand island dressing.
Cart attendant was very friendly, I would play again but use golf now for a much better rate
Nice course...
Great conditions in July, beautiful fairways, tee boxes and greens. Good pace just under 4 hours. Beautiful views of bay and marshes. Only complaints - need map of course on scorecard or tee box. Had to use Google maps satellite view to see overhead view of holes. Tough for first time playing here on a few of them. Clubhouse has the coldest beer on tap. Great price on GolfNow.
