About
River Run Golf Club in Ocean City is just minutes away from the beach. The golf course has different front and back nines that make for an interesting round. This Gary Player design starts out across a wide-open landscape before moving on to more tree-lined terrain on the backside. The tighter back nine is tougher than the first nine but overall it's an approachable golf course. The player-friendly layout is gentle enough for beginners with medium-sized greens that aren't especially difficult and generous fairways that offer plenty of room. There is modest bunkering along the greens and fairways and a few lakes and some marshland come into play as well. While River Run Golf Club may not be the most formidable test, the course provides just enough of a challenge for scratch golfers.

Great round of golf!
Fun course to play with a challenging layout. I would definitely play again now that I have some familiarity of the course. Course conditions were great with smooth rolling greens. Overall, was a lot of fun.
Very nice course.
This is a terrific course and in mid July, it was in great condition.
Nice Course
First time playing this year, course in very nice condition. Amazing all the new development of townhomes/condos throughout. The only complaint is had to wait on many of the holes since so busy and they should have had golfers going off every 14-16 mins instead of 9. Recommend playing, very nice course
Impressive layout
It was in the best condition I have seen it. It was 5 years ago since I played there.
Nice Course
The course was very nice, pace was great. Only criticism is the water on certain holes is not clearly marked if you are not familiar with the course. They need checkered flags on high poles to warn golfers of the water as it is not visible from the fairways and tee boxes on certain. Other ten that nice place to play. I will be back
Great layout greens in good shaoe
Cartpath only due to heavy rain light before River Run has a great layout challenging from the tips. Greens are in good shape. Got it on a hot deal will definitely be back.
Slow Play
It was very slow play, 2 groups in front of us were more concerned about drinking than playing golf
Good pace of play means everything
Finished in under 4 hours. If they keep that up, I will return more frequently!
