About
River Run Golf Club in Ocean City is just minutes away from the beach. The golf course has different front and back nines that make for an interesting round. This Gary Player design starts out across a wide-open landscape before moving on to more tree-lined terrain on the backside. The tighter back nine is tougher than the first nine but overall it's an approachable golf course. The player-friendly layout is gentle enough for beginners with medium-sized greens that aren't especially difficult and generous fairways that offer plenty of room. There is modest bunkering along the greens and fairways and a few lakes and some marshland come into play as well. While River Run Golf Club may not be the most formidable test, the course provides just enough of a challenge for scratch golfers.

Golfer
Crazy design. I bought afternoon round. I am glad I didn’t pay full price. Easily fixed around 80 ball marks on greens. Blue tees lined up to go direct into the woods Why? Halfway house closed at the turn. Best features were the bathrooms.
Awesome Course
I really enjoyed playing at this course and will definitely be going back again in the future.
Good track and value
Course conditions were good. Target holes with some challenging Carrie’s along with som narrow tree lined holes added the right bit of challenge. Pace was decent and beverage cart helped us stay hydrated without emptying our wallets.
Best course I’ve ever played
Incredible course, challenging, great views. I’ll play any Gary player course now.
One negative is the wastewater dumping on hole 12 but oh well
Good condition, excellent pace of play.
The course is challenging on some holes as you have to strategically plan your tee shots to avoid woods/water/hazards. Overall, the course was in good shape and looks like they are making an effort to constantly improve while there is new home construction going on in select parts of the community. Greens and fairways were above average. Pace of play was seamless in the late afternoon, 18 holes under 4 hours without one delay. Friendly staff.
Great round of golf!
Fun course to play with a challenging layout. I would definitely play again now that I have some familiarity of the course. Course conditions were great with smooth rolling greens. Overall, was a lot of fun.

Nice Course
First time playing this year, course in very nice condition. Amazing all the new development of townhomes/condos throughout. The only complaint is had to wait on many of the holes since so busy and they should have had golfers going off every 14-16 mins instead of 9. Recommend playing, very nice course

It was in the best condition I have seen it. It was 5 years ago since I played there.
Nice Course
The course was very nice, pace was great. Only criticism is the water on certain holes is not clearly marked if you are not familiar with the course. They need checkered flags on high poles to warn golfers of the water as it is not visible from the fairways and tee boxes on certain. Other ten that nice place to play. I will be back
