About
River Run Golf Club in Ocean City is just minutes away from the beach. The golf course has different front and back nines that make for an interesting round. This Gary Player design starts out across a wide-open landscape before moving on to more tree-lined terrain on the backside. The tighter back nine is tougher than the first nine but overall it's an approachable golf course. The player-friendly layout is gentle enough for beginners with medium-sized greens that aren't especially difficult and generous fairways that offer plenty of room. There is modest bunkering along the greens and fairways and a few lakes and some marshland come into play as well. While River Run Golf Club may not be the most formidable test, the course provides just enough of a challenge for scratch golfers.

Friendly staff good value for the money
Liked most everything about the course. The one exception was very long walks between 10-11 and 14-15. Felt like a mile.
Most holes reachable from current White tees even for average golfers on 4s and 5s.
Course Needs Some Maintenance
Lots of leaves everywhere and standing water in traps and on fairways.
River Run Review
Couuse was OK for this time of year but leaves were everywhere. On greens, fairways, rouge, etc. almost impossible to find your ball and some greens were unputtable. Why not have a leave blower? Not worth the money paid.
OC Golf
Good design. Short holes have some tricky white and long holes are challenging.
Always fun to play there.
Course was very wet and needed to be cut..Greens we’re just okay. Course obviously had suffered from tough summer weather conditions…
Nice layout but….
The course was in need of some care. There were a lot of burned out and bare patches on the fairways, the tee boxes were a little chewed up and the greens needed some serious TLC. Hopefully this was just the wrong time to play this course. Not worth the price with these issues.
Horrendous
The course condition was absolutely atrocious. Fairways and tee boxes were absolutely torn apart. The greens were terrible as well. Not to mention, the driving range didn’t even use real balls. It consistent of foam balls. If you’re going to charge $95, this is absolutely unacceptable. Either lower the price or fix up the course…
Nice course, some areas need work. Friendly staff and a good challenge!
