River Run Golf Course

Friendly staff but that is where the good ends. No warning of aerated greens. Fairways were patchy. No water coolers on course. Tee boxes were uneven and not level. Grass surrounding greens were often patchy with different types of grass if there was even grass because some of these areas were filled with dirt/sand instead. Shot a 39 on the front so I wasn't even having a bad day. I only played because of the hot deal so go get your money's worth at other surrounding courses. Dont waste your money here

Don’t know what happened to this course it was one of the best around. It looks as if they just let it go the greens were punched but they were diseased and fairways/ rough was bad as well but they still charged as if it was in top shape we all were disappointed.

Fairways were mud and dirt, yellow grass, just overall in complete disarray. They sent out a group of 5 in front of two twosomes, the greens were a mix of dirt and holes, and they punched the greens the day before we played. Grounds crew followed us around, even though we were one of like 6 groups playing.

Overall, the course was in the worst shape that I have ever seen a golf course, and for them to charge $90 is a joke. Staff was friendly, but sending out large groups in front of 2 small groups is ridiculous.

If you're looking for a fast playing course, its not bad. Greens were being aerated and we found out on the first green, no warning. Fairways were in rough shape. Where it was good, the fairway grass was too long. Greens were fried out from a full summer of heat. Course needs work. Layout was nice. Bunkers were well kept.

I arrived and was treated by the surly pro shop attendant who informed me that not only was the back 9 closed but the front nine was aerated yesterday. I understand that aeration is necessity. I’m not happy that I wasted my money playing the same 9 holes twice. The starter was me very friendly. It would be nice if the course had some way to communicate this to the golf now service or if they did if golf now could have let me know.

This was my first time playing River Run and found it to be a very interesting and enjoyable course. I look forward to coming back and playing it again in the future.

My wife and I played River Run two times during our stay in Selbyville. Both days we played around 12:30 PM. It was a pleasure to not be pushed from behind or encounter slow players in front of us both days. Staff was friendly and got us going on time with excellent and efficient customer service. The layout is enjoyable and very playable. Weather was very hot both days, but course conditions were excellent. The staff was actively watering on some holes in order to cool surface temperatures and maintain good playing conditions. Greens held well and were consistent. All in all, a fun course that played fairly with lovely tree-lined fairways and challenging rough. We will play here again when we are in the area.;,,,,)):2;

The course was in poor condition. Most of the tee boxes had major divots and repair marks. Fairways were in pretty good shape. Greens were average. Overall, worth the money paid since we had a 20-percent off coupon. It wouldn’t be worth the normal green fee prices. There are much better courses that are a better value in the OC area.

Very nice course, great value on Golf Now. My only two issues with the course are the amount of ball marks on greens that people do not repair and a handful of the tee boxes need some work. The course is fairly tight, target golf, and unless you are very accurate and consistent with the driver would recommend irons off of many tees. Would definitely play again and recommend playing. Cart girl was very nice and came around numerous times. Pro shop very nice apparel and staff very nice, but need a mask to enter. Glad I finally played
