About
River Run Golf Club in Ocean City is just minutes away from the beach. The golf course has different front and back nines that make for an interesting round. This Gary Player design starts out across a wide-open landscape before moving on to more tree-lined terrain on the backside. The tighter back nine is tougher than the first nine but overall it's an approachable golf course. The player-friendly layout is gentle enough for beginners with medium-sized greens that aren't especially difficult and generous fairways that offer plenty of room. There is modest bunkering along the greens and fairways and a few lakes and some marshland come into play as well. While River Run Golf Club may not be the most formidable test, the course provides just enough of a challenge for scratch golfers.

Played after a lot of rain
Due to the substantial rain we had gotten over the past week the course was very wet. Usually the course is in excellent condition, but the rain had obviously taken a toll on it.
I need credit Course was closed
I didn't play, course was closed do to raining day, I need a full credit
Cancelation T time
I am very upside with this app the course was close and I could not cancel my reservation that was already paid
Excellent course in good condition and unbelievably great value if you don’t mind playing after 1 PM. Played twice in the same week and would definitely recommend to others.
Nice course but what storm damage
Did not like cart path only for entire course. Not sure it was still necessary. Some areas yes from storm damage. Would like to play again when in better shape
Why Cart Path Only?
Enjoyable course, but 75% of the time it is cart path only, easily twice as frequent as other area courses, maybe more so. I suspect management wants to keep the course pristine for the home owners that line the course, at the expense of the golfers. "Too wet", "too dry", "just seeded", "just aerated", "too hot" (when it was in the 80s in July, really?) are just some of the reasons I've heard. It gets annoying after a while and wife will no longer play the course because of it.
Course has always been enjoyable. Interesting layout. Starting to lose some luster by reduced rough maintenance ,, also virus changes work on the course.
Not a show stopper any longer,, but will still remain on my list to play when in OC..
fast round
We were there on a Monday midmorning and the course was wide open. Our Threesome teed off 15 minutes before our scheduled tee time. we did not see anyone ahead of us until #17 when we caught up to a foursome. I recommend bringing a GPS yardage device because the ;course does not have much in the way of yardage markers
