River Run Golf Course

The course is in excellent shape and is a great layout!

We really enjoyed the layout of this course.

Greens were a bit slow due to a lot of rain, but they rolled true.

The layout of this course is fun for players who shoot in the 80’s or 90’s .

Only downside was that it was very muddy, ( we played cart path only).

Slow pace of play. Stopped after hole 13, took 4 hours to play. Marshall was nowhere to be found.

The course was cart path only understandable considering there was a lot of rain the two days prior. The course held up very well most of the bunkers had water but you could move your ball to accommodate.the tee boxes and greens were in great shape the ball rolled true and were very consistent not fast or slow. Overall the course was in great shape considering and I would definitely play again hopefully next time it won't be path only.

The past two years, RR has been in great shape, from fairways to greens. The only complaint I have is there's no marshal, one hole there was 4 groups on one hole with a single in the playing by himself. Other than that, I'll be playing the more often being a local.

The group in front of me was just two older guys. They had a two hole start on me. And I caught them on the ninth hole. I finally quit on the sixteenth hole, the course is recovering well from the spring play.

Narrow short course, played well, good shape.

worth the money

You can’t control the weather conditions, course was very wet. Cart path only really slows down play. And people over rating there ability. Playing from the blue when they should be at white tees. A threesome, a twosome, is a threesome than a twosome really makes for slow play. I like this course! Also the lack of a grill at the turn, nothing ready.

Played from the back tees, pretty good course and we got a good deal on the tee time. Only $55 which was a steal for this course

Worst conditions I've ever seen at River Run. Tee boxes were ridiculous, most bunkers unplayable, overall poor conditions for this time of year. We paid $40, its not worth more than that in its current state.

I really like the layout of the course - very well done. And even though we played forward tees, the course was still challenging. The grass off the fairway was long and made for very difficult shots to greens - many times best to just lay up rather than try to get to the green. Course was in great shape and enjoyed the round.

way too slow with old people and novices. No marshals, open holes, left early and only -played 11 holes.

Fairways and greens were excellent but sand traps were wet from recent rains. Course layout is great with some challenging holes. Enjoyed the round but pace of play a bit slow due to special rate with a full course.
