River Run Golf Course

Played from the back tees, pretty good course and we got a good deal on the tee time. Only $55 which was a steal for this course

Worst conditions I've ever seen at River Run. Tee boxes were ridiculous, most bunkers unplayable, overall poor conditions for this time of year. We paid $40, its not worth more than that in its current state.

I really like the layout of the course - very well done. And even though we played forward tees, the course was still challenging. The grass off the fairway was long and made for very difficult shots to greens - many times best to just lay up rather than try to get to the green. Course was in great shape and enjoyed the round.

way too slow with old people and novices. No marshals, open holes, left early and only -played 11 holes.

Fairways and greens were excellent but sand traps were wet from recent rains. Course layout is great with some challenging holes. Enjoyed the round but pace of play a bit slow due to special rate with a full course.

Played here many times over past years and this was the best condition I have ever experienced with this course. Staff was great and pace of play was better than usually experienced at River Run. Keep up the good work!

The scorecard says the round should take no more than four hours. It took us 4.5 hours because of slow groups in front of us that were part of a shotgun start earlier in the day. We called the pro shop to ask if they could speed up the slow golfers. A rep from the course came out and spoke to the people in the group that were two groups ahead. He then told us that management doesn't like saying anything to the "regulars" about slow play because they provide a lot of business for the course.

Good day at River Run. The greens and fairways were in great shape. The wind made me choose the white tees and that was a wise choice. River run has a great variety of of Par 4's, taking the driver out of your hand on several holes.

Amenities received a low score for and driving range that uses foam balls and snack bar that is way too pricey. And a $8 hot dog is absurd. Someone in my group dropped $23 for cheeseburger, crackers and a Miller Lite. Where are we, at the BWI airport?

Overall i had a great day and i can't wait to go back. Thanks to River run for using GolfNow.

Tee box and some fairways can be much improved but other than that a good course.

It's been a year since I've played here and really enjoyed the outing. Course was in nice shape, offered some tougher holes and some scoring holes. We played the white tees - they have red, gold, white and blue. It's tight so you need to be accurate, but can be rewarding if you keep it in the fairway. It's a Gary player design so layout is nice.

I was visiting family out of town and Mike took care of me getting me on the course ahead of schedule. Love the layout and glad they were open so I could get a round in after Christmas.
