Bunkers and cart
The bunkers were in bad shape with standing water. The golf cart center console came apart and feel onto the floor. USB ports did not work.

Most greens in good shape. Tees and fairways are a bit patchy. Fairways were not lush and uniform.

Poor Golf Experience
Pace of Play: Not terrible. There were open tee times so we played quick.
Course Conditions:
-Tee boxes might as well have been sand bunkers.
- Dead grass everywhere
-Trash on the course
-Greens were decent but 5 feet off the green turns right into dead grass and sand again.
-Hitting out of dirt in the middle of the fairway.
Staff Friendliness
-Would’ve been average for a muni course. I had higher expectations for a private course but nothing too bad or too good.
Value for the Money

Course Layout
- Actually very neat and challenging layout. Would’ve enjoyed it if it was in playable condition.
Off Course
- It states that range balls are included which is not true. $6 to hit off of mats is actually pretty decent but nothing else to offer.
I picked up and left after 9 holes. Challenging layout combined with unplayable conditions we’re unbearable. Maybe I need to lower my expectations for the area but this course is no better than a local muni on a good day.

Nice course layout
I can see remnants of a course that once was. The course has so much potential to be a great little club again. The course needs to embrace all homeowners that live in the course and demand a fee for that privilege. If no fees are paid when a house is sold and mentions on the course a percentage of the sale should be given. Point is the course looks to need funding for the superintendent to be able to do their job and get the course back into shape. I would recommend anyone who can play to make it out there at least once before it closes.

May have good at one time…but that time is not now.
The course needs a lot of work. Fairways were bad, tee boxes were awful, greens were okay but bumpy. Staff at the bar were nice, and the food was okay. Bottom line I wouldn’t pay even the hot deals price to play here again.

No regard for tee time
Pace of play was very slow due to someone without a tee time jumping in front of us at our allotted tee time. Course was in good shape and a good challenge.

Needs a lot of tending loving care
I was given a lot of very positive reviews of this course before playing, so I went in with high expectations. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The greens were a slow, bumpy sponge. Zero putts rolled true. A lot of the bunkers were pure mud. The tee boxes and fairways were looking rough. Admittedly, it was raining, which may have contributed to poor conditions.
One bright note was that the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I think the course can turn it around if they put a little time into improving conditions. The layout has a lot of promise and the range balls are free.
Don't want to discourage anyone from playing bc I'm sure the course needs the money to be able to improve, but temper your expectations. Know that the website photos tell a different story.

Decent for the Price
The fairways were a bit dried-out, well-struck tee-shots sometimes kicked-up a little cloud of dust in the middle of the fairway. The greens rolled well. The pro shop, range, putting green, 1st and 10th tee-boxes are all very close/convenient to each other.

Understaffed. Clubhouse darn near empty. Challenging and fun course to play and worth the price of the hot deal.

Escape near DC
Nice layout in only fair condition. Tee boxes and traps need work. On a nice Monday course was quiet,, played in < 4 hours and feels like you are away, even though close to DC. Driving range and short game warm up areas available. Clubhouse Undergoing renovations so can’t comment on off course amenities.

Not worth the money…
Play somewhere else… Not sure how this course is labeled as a private club. The practice facilities are minimal and bare, the clubhouse has bare minimum for food and drinks, no bar or restaurant staff, and the course is clearly neglected by not only the staff but their members as well. Every green had over 20+ ball divots not repaired, bunkers were full of grass and rocks (and water), one tee box was completely sand, and most fairways barely had any grass. We traveled from another state to play here with high hopes, but unfortunately it might be in the bottom 5 courses I’ve ever played. It also poured rain the day before and the course could have debatably been closed with water puddles all over. I would look elsewhere to play in this area.

Not a Country Club
False advertisement, amazing they can consider themselves a Country Club - no driving range available, course need to be arated abd seeded. Very thin grass with bare spots down fairways, club house has been under construction for 2 years, with very little progress. No cigars available, no beverage cart, lack of staff. Place is falling apart
Just a step above Hawthorn CC, stay away for at least 2 month to give them chance to improve course conditions.

Great value and staff
The course was in good shape for so early in the season. The greens were really good. They were having a tournament on the day we played and they worked us in without any delay. The staff was super friendly. We were in DC for the weekend and the locals were great as well. I will defiantly play again when I am in DC.
