Nice club with a variety of holes
This course has a some moderate and difficult holes. There are some very tight driving areas and one super difficult par three on the back side. There are many birdie opportunities with precision shot making. Currently 2 holes are temporary due to construction on the far end of the course. The course is in good condition and the golfers are friendly. There is a nice practice area with driving range and putting green. The club facilities are under going upgrades so I cannot comment.

Still okay
Two holes were under construction, however, the staff did not advise of such. Par4 is now a Par3 with temp green in fairway about 150yds out, but who knows ... And a Par 5 which I guess is a long Par3 or very short Par4 since the tee boxes are unavailable ... No signs, no heads up ... Was disappointed by that.

Not worth it
Course conditions are really bad. One hole they’ve cut in half during construction. The “green” is an area on the fairway. No heads up was given so we assumed it was a pole indicating a recommended landing place with driver

A hidden gem!
This was my first time Playing here and I was excited after seeing the layout and reviews.
Very good course.
The greens are good
People need to fix divots
They took care of the leaves so you could find your balls
Very friendly staff who seems to care about the golfers
Repairs are ongoing on #3 which they need to tell you
Once they open the clubhouse , it will a great experience.

Hidden DMV Gem.
Although this course isn’t in the main area of all the rest of the Virginia & Maryland courses, it does not disappoint. The front 9 is littered with right hand draw tee shots (left hand fade) along with an interesting, unique course layout to test both you off the tee box as well as on your approach shots. The back 9 opens up more into a true bombers course but still tests your accuracy with tight tee shots. The entire course is bermuda/zoysia mix fairway grass with a recently renovation drainage system so there’s very little wet areas. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a shorter, very challenging course!

Gene the GM is unprofessional
Who would join here? The "GM", little Gene, doesn't care about the members and doesn't know how to run a club or interact with people in a positive or professional manner. It seems he forgot that he is in a service industry. Shameful.
Great course, no club house.
It’s a beautiful course that is in great shape. The greens were fast and pristine. There is no club house or proshop at the moment, which definitely had me worried before the round began. Ultimately, a great experience.

Excellent course layout, on-going improvements.
This was my first visit to National Golf Club as a non-member. Loved the course design with water and bunker hazards. A few tee boxes were in need of replanting, but you could tell it was a work in progress. The club house is currently closed for renovations so there are minimal amenities available beyond golf. The golf experience was worth the going rate and I do plan to return!
