Excellent course!!
Played Ocean Pines today through Golf Pass and enjoyed it very much. Good value and the course was in very good shape. The new clubhouse is very nice and 100% capacity in MD. Will definitely play there again.

What a great day starting staff all very good check in process nice n easy ! Lunch at the turn was great again quick n easy great value and quality food nice wait staff... overall can’t wait to play again thanks to all at Ocean Pines

Golf course is still very wet. Golf path only (last 3 weeks and its pouring today} Cart people are good but the counter staff are not very friendly. The lady was but the men act like they don't want to be bothered. Also, need to let people know they don't take cash, credit card only, even for the driving range.
Need a pro shop sign over the outside door.

We usually pride ourselves on our friendly customer service and are disappointed that you didn't experience that.
We do currently have a no-cash policy to protect the health of our staff and guests during the pandemic. We're sorry that this was not better advertised when you visited. Your suggestion about having a sign over the Golf Shop is a good one - it's one of the last finishing details we've been waiting on since we opened our brand-new building. Hopefully it will be up and in place the next time you visit - we hope you're able to play a round with us soon!
Great Layout, dramatic improvement from September
Played here in September and was very disappointed in the course conditions. I had heard they made some staff changes and had put a lot of work into addressing the course, so I thought I'd see for myself. Wow what a differerence! Most improvement was the greens, no more bare spots. Tee boxes and fairways have been over seeded and grass has grown in well. Still a few spots in low lying areas where water doesn't appear to drain well, but a dramatic improvement from September. I'd like to see the rough cut a little shorter, but overall the course was in very good shape.
If you haven't played here recently because of course conditions like me, I'd recommend you give the course another shot. I'm glad I did. Rates are good this time of year and they have a new Clubhouse and food management team.

You are correct that the course had suffered some at the end of the summer, but our recently hired superintendent and assistant superintendent have worked hard to identify and correct the issues, issues that we don't expect to experience again moving forward. Good OCMD Course
Enjoyed it, first time playing the course paid for a 12:50 Fall tee-time rate, was about average. Wouldn't pay too much for the course, but when we played it seemed average. In OCMD you can pay 3 figures for GREAT golf but I recommend paying half of that for Ocean Pines.
Greens were a little slow, tee boxes weren't mowed too well, but overall very green, tight course, great layout, enjoyed an afternoon with the guys, had a few birdies and shot 76!

Ocean Pines
Fairways were in great shape. For the most part, greens were good but some were being repaired. Pace of play was 4 hours because it was cart path only due to wet conditions.

Great course! Unfriendly staff....
First time playing there. The course was lay out was great. The person at the pro shop desk was very very rude and not professional. Probably won't be coming back because of that....

Tee boxes were in a little rough shape and a couole of greens were patchy. However, in general the course was in good shape. Would play it again.

Sunday Treat
Our Group enjoyed our day at Ucean Pines. Course conditions were less than perfect due to recent aeration. Excessive sand on all greens. They were extremely slow.. Despite this problem we enjoyed our round
